Daughtry Rocks !!!

What else is there really to say!!!

I have been a fan since .... yes American Idol.

My husband actually got to meet Chris and the band last year. (In Memphis..Early Dec. 06.. I think.) My husband was there on his way to St. Louis to help restore power lost during a ice storm and Chris and the guy's flight had been cancelled because of the bad weather. Both were at the small hotel bar where they were staying. Just days before my husband left we were talking about Daughtry's new CD and his tattoo - which is how I'm sure he was able to spot him. Anyway he approached Chris and talked to him... telling him how I was such a fan. Before long My phone rang and it was Chris. WOW he was soooo nice and down to earth. Never having that hurry up or rushed sound in his voice. My family had been going through alot that month... and for just a few minutes I was able to forget all the worry and smile... sounds corny I know but its the truth. After that I was a Daughtry fan for life.

Each year my best friends and I take a Girls Trip.. and last year it was to Sunfest in West Palm Beach to see Chris. We were there when the gates opened and waited for hours ...it was worth it. The show ROCKED... and Chris was the highlight. He is just a nice guy. Truely appreciating all the fan support... it just beams from him.
Then finally he had a show locally (in biloxi - about an hour away). I waited up after working all night for the tickets to go on sale. Luck was on my side because I was able to get front floor tickets. My husband and best friend came to the show with me. Again DAUGHTRY ROCKED !!! not quite the same as Palm beach but still a awesome show. I really thought Chris was sick or feeling under the weather in Biloxi but I know he would never let his fans know that. The show was great... honestly. We all bought shirts and now even my husband is a true fan.
