When I first got the Daughtry CD I used to like the song There and Back Again. But after months of listening , I then realized that my favorite song was Breakdown. The things that I like from Breakdown is the Lyrics, rythm, the guitar in the end of the song and the fact that Daughtry is in there!
This song is amazing and beautifully sung. It's inspirational and gives me the courage to hold on and keep pursuing my endeavors even though stress and obstacles come in the way. Once again, it is absolutely amazing!
This song could mean so many different things to people but for me it is a testament to staying true to yourself but still holding onto the people in your life that you love. It's a hard thing to do but sometimes you have to decide what is important; your sense of self or the decision to stay around someone that cannot accept you for who you are.
Odd way to look at this song but that's my 2 cents lol.
i think the absent element version was slightly darker, but no matter how its sung or portrayed, this song fixes so much for me...its a release and an absolute masterpiece

What a Track
Sometimes you find a song that speaks to you, or a situaiton you are in. This one speaks to me, at just the right time. Great song.
