David Cook will be forgotten any time soon. I think he will have the most success.

that David Cook, Michael Johns & Carly Smithson are the most ready, as far as they have the time, blood, sweat & tears in & I think their previous experiences will only add to their success. Plus I think they have the strongest voices & stage presence.

I think David A will win Idol & do well at least for awhile in the Pop genre.

Some have mentioned touring with Daughtry. I don't mean for this to sound the wrong way, but I really don't want Daughtry to tour with anyone from idol. Even those from AI that I like. I think it would be taking 10 steps backwards. They have established themselves, gained respect and are doing great. To tour with an AI from this season, would be good for the new AI but Daughtry doesn't gain anything from it. I'd rather see them continue touring with Bon Jovi, NB and acts like that. They have already stepped away from idol and I don't really think it would be in their best interest to go back. I'm more concerned with what is best for Daughtry than for anyone coming off AI right now. There are several that I like and will buy their music but I'm not pulling for Daughtry to tour with them or anything like that.

Jason Castro's music is only for an acquired taste i think....me included!!!! His voice is so pure and relaxing. I absolutely LOVE IT. I really look forward to a cd!! I'd buy it in a second!

I really hope that Michael Johns does good also!

I think David Archuleta is going to be pretty big....at least for awhile with the tweeners.

Syesha....i dont think she will go far. look at melinda doolittle from last season...she had a WAY better voice than Syesha and I havent heard anything about her.

David Cook....I am not a big fan of his. But I DON'T think he will end up like Taylor Hicks. David is young and good looking and a rocker. He appeals to a lot of people. Out of them all I think he will sell the most records.

...then David Cook is the only one left who fits the bill! You can see he has the passion for what he's doing, he KNOWS his style and how to arrange a song to fit that style, he's gorgeous, great stage presence, great voice and quite frankly, he's the only one out of the now three contestants left that I can imagine hearing on the radio or seeing in concert.

Syeshia is beautiful and has a fantastic voice...I possibly could hear her on the radio, however, during ALW week, she showed what an amazing Broadway talent she could be and when Randy said she was in her element, she said, "I'm fine with that!" So really I think she'd be FANTASTIC on Broadway, even winning Tony awards possibly and all...maybe even getting into acting, because if I'm not mistaken, she loves that too.

David Archuleta is precious and is as cute as a puppy...LOL. He has an amazing voice and at first I thought he'd be the frontrunner, but as the weeks go on, I honestly am not sure he'd do well as a pop artist right now. Maybe he needs to get his on Disney or Nickolodeon show first and go from there... He's so sweet I'm almost afraid he'd get eaten by the wolves out there. LOL

Jason Castro is talented, cute and all, and if he's singing the right song he can do a great job, but all I see him headlining are the Starbucks across the country - he seems like a sweetheart, but he just seems like a college coffee shop singer. I can't see him as a major success. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

So anyway, I think they could all be successful in different ways like so many who've left the show that you haven't really heard of...but that doesn't mean a lot aren't successful, a lot are on Broadway now and love it and are very successful at that. But really, like I said, if you're going by what the show is "supposed" to be finding...then David Cook is your guy!!

in there own way, i mean i don't think they will all be pop sensations if thats what you mean. i see DC being a rocker, and doing pretty well, he already has a good fanbase,and i think he will do well.
DA should go into contemarary christian IMO, i think he could do very well.
Sy-i could def see going on to broadway, or maybe an R&B singer.
Jas-Is gonna do very well just being himself, i don't think i could fit him into a certain genre, because he is so original, he has a very loyal fanbase, and i see him going very far

I'll say that David Cook may become one of the most successful Idols ever.

He is the Total package.

I hope he's opening for Daughtry one day!

I think success, true success, it record sales. That's what it's all about in the music business! Money. Money. Money.

So with that being said- there are THREE successful artists from Idol. And really only TWO now, b/c even Kelly Clarkson has kind of gone down hill recently-- she had to cancel her tour for goodness sake b/c of low ticket sales. Clive Davis may be some things- but he sure knows what he's talking about- and parting ways with him, was stupid on her behalf!

in the music industry then they've been successful. Broadway is huge also. Jennifer Hudson probably didn't sell much of her own album, but look she won an Oscar! I think David Cook will sell alot of CDs. Maybe not to the extent of Daughtry, but sell nonetheless.

I just can't see David A. being a pop sensation, ya know? Maybe he'll go to Broadway also.

I'll also be politically correct and say they've been successful to make it this far! Can you imagine how difficult it must be to get up there and sing in front of millions? And then have Simon cut you down? Poor Jason....

How do you measure success? Record sales? Sure, but not necessarily. Broadway is Success. Having a following you would have never had before the show, is Success.
