i have a Zune.
it does everything a video ipod will do.
mine is 30 gb.
it has music, video,pictures, radio.
im not sure on the price but i know its less that $200. i think its around $150
i love it.
i got it for christmas and my brother got an ipod nano.
but he ended up liking my ZUNE better...so he took back his ipod and got a Zune! lol

Yes, it holds video. It does all that the 8gb does, just has less memory. My son got the 4gb for Christmas and is nowhere near maxing out the memory. I have the 8gb, and knowing me, I will never max out the memory!! I just had to have the red one - I got it for my 40th bday - that was the only thing I wanted!! Yes, they are a little pricey, but worth it. If the 4gb came in red I would have gotten that one.

I absolutely love it - it's the 8gb - cost $200. My son has the 4gb nano and it does the same as mine, just has less memory and only comes in silver - cost $150. I also bought my 5yr old daughter an Insignia mp3 player for about $90 (i think). It's a 2gb and is simple enough for her to use and it has great sound quality. If you can swing it, I recommend the ipod nano 8gb - more memory, holds video and comes in a great choice of colors. If you need to something a little less expensive, the Insignia is a great choice, in my opinion.
