We had a 2-day school wide teach in on genocide and global awareness. The 2nd day was focused on "action" and one of the lighter parts of the day was cycling the entire school into the tech labas and computer stations to hone their vocab on freerice.com ... it led to some serious competitions among students and staff - and for a good cause.
my plan is to have my schools student council (since its my senior year) to spend a semester planning and advertising a benefit even with all proceeds going to ONE and selling tshirts and stuff to go with it..i have very specific special plans in mind very...unrealistic but we'll see what i can do..
