I know everyone is entitled to their opinion BUT
Im really fed up with all the Chris haters. Especially on YouTube. It can only go so far, ya know? And what has Chris done against any of those people that say hes [c o c k y] and an arrogant jerk? Yeah, Ive only met him once but he doesnt seem either one and I think if that was the case, he wouldn't interact with his fans the way he does, keeping us updated, video blogs, etc. And besides, if you hate Chris Daughtry why would you be watching his videos on Youtube just to criticize?? I just dont get it !
Some things Ive heard/read and want to comment on besides his personality supposedly lacking... Are his voice. Its "tweaked" in the studio. Well lemme tell ya something. If he SUCKED live I dont think him && the rest of the guys of course would be performing to sold out arenas basically every freakin night. I mean HELLO did you see how PACKED it was for Daughtry @ the BJ shows?! Thats crazy considering all of the 'Daughtry isnt good enough Im not showin up for the opening act.." people.. but guess what it was pretty much a full house when it came time for our boys to hit the stage and we all went CRAZY. Also, im pretty sure since he was 4th place on American Idol:Season 5 that he isnt vocally challenged because if he were, he wouldnt have made it that far considering they cant "Tweak" your voice on stage! Its basically karaoke and its up to the person to bring what they got. And in his case, its ALOT 
Ive heard he sounds better on the album because of the voice "tweaking" well hey kids guess what, they do that to EVERYONE to perfect all the sounds together.. not because he sucked. Because if he did him and his band wouldnt have sold over 4 million copies.. well actually it was just Chris along with a studio band.. no JP, Steely, Brian or Joey =(
But anyway, then Ive heard Chris is gay! PUHHHLEASE!
Hes not freakin gay. Hes married with a beautiful wife and children for pete's sake. Rumor is.. he kissed some guy on stage at a concert with Nickelback in Indy which i missed last year because i was late gettin on this Daughtry train lol.. but anyway.. basically Im sick of all the haters!
We all know all of this is untrue of course. Butttt.. yeah Daughtry has the best fans ever and I love them unconditionally! Peace Out

sometimes i see something just off the wall written about him, his wife and EVEN the kids. now that is low down and dirty. and yeah of course it pisses me off. but i have NEVER responded to them. just adds fuel to the fire ya know? and on youtube and stuff i always see ppl (mostly guys) post...oh he sucks..and the band sucks and blah blah blah.....BUT WHO'S RICH AND SUCCESSFUL and have girls all over them???? LOL. In your faces biatches!!!

He is an innovator, unique unto himself, often imitated but never duplicated.....this kind of talent comes along rarely, so people either love him or hate him. Those of us who love him GET him..the haters are clueless. There are few who are lukewarm about Chris.....he inspires passion in his admirers AND in his detractors. The nay-sayers are somehow threatened by his individuality so they need to put him down to lift themselves up.......it gives them a feeling of power or control, however pathetic they may be. Secretly, they are sick with jealousy over his success and they have to try and mar it somehow. Fortunately, WE are in the majority.......there are more of US (who adore Chris) than there are of them. They are to be pitied and ultimately, ignored. As CD4i said, don't feed the trolls!

the haters! UGGGH. I argue with ppl all the time and I always win because I will NOT stop til they shut up.
Just don't get it or understand what you could have against Chris. I think he is amazing live and wonderful. He has one of the greatest voices ever. I don't know why people have to waste their times critizing other people just cause they prefer someone else or have a different taste of music. I don't like every celebrity out there but I don't waste my time looking up info on those people and write negative stuff on them. I'd rather concentrate on what I do love and what I am passionate for and for me that is Chris and now Daughtry. I think some of these haters are just jealous or mean jerks themselves. I've never met Chris myself yet but I can tell he's caring,wonderful, and just an all around good guy. He's gotten involved with charity and keeps his fans informed and all that and I don't think he acts c**ky or arrogant in any way. It's the exact opposite. His real fans know this and I don't listen to what anyone else has to say. They're wrong, enough said.

Everyone who knows Chris loves him - Jon BonJovi, Rickie Sambora, Nickleback, John Mayer, SevenDust, Theory of a Dead Man, US, etc, etc. Those who are haters are simply showing their
Chris-envy,. It is more of a compliment because he is the standard. As for their hatred? It means nothing and will consume them before it will affect Chris.
Can you imagine your life being focused on seeking ways to show your hatred for someone you have never met? Strange, really strange.

We all dislike someone, or some style of music, or performer. But, it doesn't mean that we search for them on Youtube so that we can talk trash about them. I think most of us are much more mature than that...We have to realize that it is the society today being negative, and the kids today are the ones posting alot of negativity on Youtube.
I know that Chris and "Daughtry" as a band, are phenomenal live. They Blow the fans away every time!!! And, they Love us! Imagine being a band onstage, and looking in the crowd, seeing the same faces, night after night, and city after city!!!! How can you NOT appreciate your fans??? And, they are so Humble. What's not to Love?
Let the Haters Hate! They will find themselves when they grow up. And, realize what immature brats they are.
Let them listen to their "Unpositive" Rap music! They are hating on Daughtry because he's not Cursing and talking about killing and grabbing his crotch like a Gangsta wannabe.
I'd Much Rather be Listening to Daughtry!!!! Anyday!

I feel bad that they have so little self-esteem that they purposefully go out and find people to put down.
They feel so small inside, that it's the only thing that makes them feel powerful, especially when the other person isn't there to defend himself! It's the typical bully situation!
Rise above it. We, Daughtry fans, are better than that! Just spread the love, and pray that they have a better day. And if they choose to be mean to you in return, wish them well again. It's their loss and maybe someday it'll sink in.

I used to get angry when I heard people talking trash like that it just is what it is. I have seen and heard some pretty awful things and had them said about me as well!
Here is what I have learned you are never going to have everyone love you as we do Chris its just a fact! People CAN and WILL be mean and downright rude for no reason at all! I know this for a fact! All we hope and pray is that Chris just continues on being his same sweet, loving, down to earth self!!!!!
There is nothing you can do about it I have heard people saying the same things and its a mix of things.... Jealousy you name it! I have had people say some things to me about Chris but I shot them down right away and they couldn't come up with a good argument as to why they felt that way!
Lets me know there is no reason for people to feel that way! Its JUDGING others before you know them plain and simple! I get riled when someone tries to talk about him and say hey this is a truly awesome, christian man who loves his wife and family very much and he just would not be doing or saying the things that you think of him!!!!! You know what they say??? Oh I didn't know that!
As far as Chris's voice we ALL KNOW how awesome he sounds when he hits the stage and we don't need anyone to tell us different! PURE TALENT as an ARTIST plain and simple!
Ok I think I vented enough about this subject but you let me hear anyone talk badly about ANY of the DAUGHTRY guys and those are fighting words for me because they are not there to defend themselves!
Just don't let it get to you so bad like I said its just pure evil coming out in people at times and its ugly and downright uncalled for!!!!

other people especially on youtube. Every style of music isn't going to please everyone. But that's ok cause everyone at DO knows that Chris and the guys rock! They have sold 4 Million copies of the album for a reason! Chris had something to prove after AI and he passed a lot of people's expectations! I never doubted Chris, I knew he would have a great career. So don't worry about all the Daughtry Haters because Daughtry is better than that. People will always criticize others no matter who they are just to make themselves feel better. Don't respond to those remarks as it only "fuels the fire" so to speak. I can say (as I'm sure others who read this post will agee.) Daughtry's cd is great. Daughtry rocks the stage (and treat their fans like family) Daughtry is famous but they are SO GROUNDED!!!!!

just like to criticize others. It makes them feel good for some reason. Lack of self-esteem, jealousy? It's the whole premise behind sites like Vote For the Worst. These people get paid to dis others. I don't get it.
Anywho, we've heard him live on AI, in concert, and at the AMAs. His voice is pure and oh so perfect. All studio recordings are "tweaked", that's why it's recorded in a studio, duh. Otherwise it would be a live recording.
His voice is amazing, a true gift. We know it, ***k those who don't. Just think what they're missin.
