And since Im pretty new here
Let me introduce myself, since I haven't yet. Im Debbie,Im 38 and I live in Florida. Im married to my firefighter hubby for 11 years.I have 2 children 17 and 10. I loved Chris on Idol as soon as he sang Wanted and became a fan of the band when I heard the cd.I've only been to 1 show and that was with Bon Jovi in Tampa on April 27th. Mostly because I couldnt get anyone to go with me to Clearwater or Orlando. But now that my SIL and friends have seen Daughtry, I will have no problems getting them to go to shows.Thank goodness.I'm working on a trip up to NJ for the Toms River Fest since my family up there is having a family reunion BBQ on Sat the 2nd. Only 20 minutes from there. I also found out my niece is dating the son of the woman who runs the fest so I told her to just make sure she makes it work through Aug 3rd 
Im looking forward to getting to know some more fans and happy to see Im not the only 38 year old who loves these guys. I was feeling a bit old, ya know?

Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking here for a long time and finally joined up in January. I have to read up on the DOGGs thread. I'm hoping my neice will go with me to Toms River. She's only 20 and not sure she's much of a fan. At least I know there will be some people from here just in case

Have you seen the DOGGS thread here in backstage. It stands for Daughtry Official Groupie Grannies and includes a whole lot of grannies of around 60! As well as some who aren't grannies - or 60, but are 'older' fans who like to chat with others of a similar age!
All love the music and the guys and going to concerts every bit as much as you do!

Hey, not to worry there are A LOT of us "late thirty somethings" on here!! You MUST go to the Toms River show if you are going to be so close! I wish there was a show near me!! I'm guessing you'll probably get to hear some new music (other than YDB). Ok, so the "rules" around here are, if ya go to a show your obligated to report back all the details to the rest of us Daughtry Official (DO) fans!!
