Reviews for this Calendar date

The show was great, I enjoyed every second of it. Day of Fire is one of the best group I've ever heard. Daughtry kicked butt, I love that man. I didn't really like Ziggy's that well but I can't complain I got to see and touch Chris and Josh threw my his towel. It was worth 23 hours of waiting. Chris even signed my leg so I could get it tattooed. I will show you guys when I get it.

This is the second time for me seeing the Daughtry show, and it was even better the second time around. Cinder Road and Day of Fire are awesome opening bands - I'd buy a ticket just to see them.

I didn't even mean for it to happen. I mingled with the crowd outside, spoke to Josh (DOF) for a while and then went to the bar and grill across the street. I came to get in my car to leave and some girls were walking up and a friend of mine told me she had met Chris. I walked down there and he was about to leave. It happened really fast... it was just a few words, a hand shake and a hug. I think I left about 12:50 or 1 am, I think? I definitely didn't plan on that happening. I guess I was at the right place at the right time kind of thing. Smiling

Loved the show!! Thought Chris looked a little worn out. Loved Day of Fire and Cinder Road! Still want my picture made with Chris...didn't happen this time. Love you guys!

OK, so my husband & I have lived within 30 minutes of Ziggy's for over 20 years now but never been there til last night. It was a different kinda venue for us, but we loved it. (Well, other than the heat, & the smoke!, lol). What's up with the stage being so low in a pit?? Kinda odd I thought. Well, made me feel a few years younger for a couple hours (til I woke up this morning after very little sleep & too much singing & screaming). Thanks to Trish for coming thru with the extra tix on short notice!

Felt like we were witnessing history, since I think the days of DAUGHTRY playing in a small dive like Ziggy's is certainly numbered. Guess that's a good thing & a bad thing...but the band (& the fans) are experiencing growing pains at a record pace. SO proud of Chris & all the guys. Missed seeing JP again but did get to see him in GSO. Josh S. & Joey were AWESOME last night--those guys are two great musicians! And first time I've really got a good close-up look at Josh without a hat--handsome guy too!

Day of Fire was ok, I actually preferred Cinder Road. Funny to see a "hair band" opening for DAUGHTRY! haha Reminded me of a lot of 80's cover bands from my college days. And I thought the local crowd was great considering how packed into the place we were.

Anyway, the Main Event: FANTASTIC JOB Chris & all the guys! Know you felt the love from the "almost hometown" crowd & it was reciprocated. Sweet when Chris said he wished they had more albums to perform longer. Since it was a weeknight & hubby had to get up at 5am this morning, it was plenty long enough for us. GSO show was longer since they did "Home" over several times for the video, & we got couple more covers there, but I was well satisfied with the entire show & more than got our $$$$ worth.

On local WKZL 107.5 radio interivew Chris said the next single would be either "Used to" or "Over You". My vote def. goes to OVER YOU. You can tell the crowd is ALWAYS into that song big time & it will be bigger than any single so far. GREAT summer/car song! So catchy. That was prob. my favorite part of the night seeing everyone so into that & Chris loves it when the crowd sings back to him.

THANK YOU guys for coming home again & entertaining us like no one else.

See you next time you're back this way, hopefully inside the air-conditioned, smoke-free GSO Coliseum! lol

Ziggy's is such a small-initmate place. no spot in the house is very far from the stage. Day of Fire sounded good, played about 45 mins. I could hear the vocals from the second tier where I was standing pretty good. CinderRoad sang about 30 mins. The lead singer likes to shed his shirt on stage. both bands sprayed the crowd with water no spot was safe from getting a little wet. Chris hit the stage with Crashed into you..He looked great in the black boggin. Sounded great too! I noticed Joey helping with backup. Not sure if I just haven't paid attention to that before. Chris had us all jumping. My favorite song is still "There and back again". I want to say special thanks to "Alison- Joey Barnes' Fan turned FRIEND" for the CD of Joey singles and helping me get an autograph and picture with Joey. I also want to shout out to my new and old friends that I met while sitting 5 hrs to buy tix and then chilling for 6 hrs waiting to get in last night. Becky,Bonnie, Nichole, Katrina, Allison, Janice and Emily. You guys made the time fly by and I realize that I/m not crazy, there are other Daughtry lovers out there! If you're wondering how long we waited for a pic w/Chris--

For those of you that were wondering how long people waited for a pic with Chris----After the show Joey Barnes came out and the other two bands were out and around signing and doing pictures. Chris came out about 12:00 and signed some autographs, no pics and went back to the bus, said he family waiting and his manager said no time. We waited until just after 1:00 and Chris did come back out from the bus and my friend Emily and I got picture with Chris.
I will never forget it. THANK YOU Chris for benig so gracious when you have so very little time at home to come back out. Lesson learned:"IT"S NOT OVER" 'til its over!
If I don't see you before Oct, I'll see you at the Raleigh State Fair.

This was the second time I have seen you guys perform now. The other was at Greensboro. You sound better live than on the album. Good choice on the opening bands. Day of Fire and Cinder Road are pretty good. Just wish you could show Virginia some love on the tour dates. Excellent performance last night. And I don't care what anyone says, for the price we paid for the tickets, it would have been worth it to just hear one song! Loved it.

Without ROCK there would be not release!

Without ~Rock~ the is no release....

The show was great. I'm a nurse and our facility had an unexpected visit from state surveyors yesterday.
I had meet and greet tickets but my boss told me that if I left to go with them in our building, I would be
terminated. Needless to say, I spent the whole day crying. By the time he let us go, it was too late. We
did get to see the show. The best, as expected.Have already had the wonderful experience of meeting
Chris so I didn't feel so bad. Really enjoyed DAY OF FIRE. Daughtry was wonderful
Thanks DAUGHTRY!!!!!

How long did you have to wait after the show to meet Chris? Glad you had fun!

UUUUUmmmmm give me Starbucks and Daughtry and I'm set!

The show at Ziggy's was amazing.

Day of Fire did an amazing job. <3 'em. <3 'em. <3 'em. It's great to see artists appreciate their fans, and stay loyal to their passion for music.

Of course, Daughtry was great. I expect nothing less. The crowd was great, except the few minor people who obviously couldn't control their alcohol intake or their attitudes. Other than that, everyone and the band were great. Meeting Chris after the show was a nice ending to the already wonderful night.

Amazing job, guys!

I have nothing to compair this show to since I've never seen Daughtry perform in person before but I thought it was absolutely amazing........... Chris is HOT and the music was great. I was a tiny bit disappointed that he didn't play What About Now but that was only for a second. Jeez he looked good. I thought the other bands were really good also, but was I the only one who was having trouble hearing the vocals when they were on stag? Thanks again Trish for the opportunity to go, you have no idea what it meant to me. Hopefully I'll get a chance to go again soon. Rock On Daughtry!!!!

Well, we just got in from the show, too. I took my 15 year old son with me. WE HAD A BLAST!! They sounded great and put on a great show. There and Back Again was phenomenol!!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!!

The opening bands were pretty good but it was hard to judge since I was wanting to see Daughtry soooooo badly.

I hope I get the chance to see them again and maybe an opportunity to meet them, too.

Smiling

Here's your moment to shine!

Here's your moment to shine!

What can I say, the man just ROCKS!!! Just got in from Ziggy's and the performance was awesome, Daughtry rocked the house. It's a wonder I didn't break a hip or something trying to jump to There and Back Again while balancing on the one step I had to squeeze into see them. *L* I love that song more than I love breathing!!!

Daughtry brought some decent opening bands as well. Day of Fire was excellent, great vocals and performance, they really warmed the crowd up.

The only downside of the night is that I didn't get to meet Chris. Sad It's my ambition to someday meet him and tell him what a wonderful inspiration he has been to the music industry and to his fans. I've been a fan since I heard him sing for the media at the Idol auditions, I knew then that he was meant to go far in the music business.

Thank you Chris and Daughtry for a wonderful and rocking night!!!!!

Mia

Love Daughtry... love Chris's singing, playing and writing.... I love Ziggy's in that 'local dive' kinda way... But I just can't belive that Chris took the stage a little over an hour ago... and I'm already home... Was it just me or did the opening bands have longer sets? Sorry if anyone takes this wrong... I am just highly critical of my music, live or studio... I'm just glad I didn't pay some scalper a bunch of money to see 45 min of the headliner.... But... It was a great show... love how the crowd can really rock that place... between the sound system and the old wooden floors, Daughtry at Ziggy's is truely a unique experience!
Thanks for playing for us Chris!! Eye-wink

Just wanted to let you all know that the 6 tickets that I had are all gone ..... Thanks Beth, Christy, and Darlene.... I hope you all enjoy the show.... I hope to hear from all of you after the show, especially you, Christy, for pictures Smiling

**Trish**

I have sold 4 of the 6 tickets that I have, only asking what I paid for them... if anyone is interested, email me at keithntrish@charter.net. Christy and Beth, I wish I could be there, too, but enjoy those tickets Smiling

Unfortunately my sister and I are not going to be able to attend the concert at Ziggy's. I have two tickets I purchased off of eTixs. Highest offer gets tickets. Cell # 336-468-0528

Gosh I want to go to this so bad.. It seems Daughtry is sold out everytime I try in North Carolina.

Charlene

In case anyone missed it, I still have 4 tickets left for the show. They are electronic tickets from Etix, so I can email them, being the show is Tuesday. I am asking what I paid for them. And, I do have paypal, so that makes the transaction fast and easy. If interested, email me at keithntrish@charter.net. I really hate not being able to go, but Beth, I hope you enjoy the show Smiling) Don't forget to email me to let me know how it was.

WOOOO HOOOO..... Just got my tickets for the show......Thanks so much keithntrish! I won't sleep til after the show! It's still hard to believe.

Tired of talking music? Let's hang out and shoot some pool, and relax... before or after the show (or both)!

Unfortunately, something has come up and I am not able to attend the Ziggy's show. I have waited to sell them, hoping for another answer. I have a total of six tickets, and would only ask what I paid for them. If anyone is interested, email me at keithntrish@charter.net.

When and how will winners be notified?

I really would like to win these tickets. I have tried to get tickets for several shows in North Carolina and they have all been sold out. I love Daughtry. I watched every episode of Americal Idol and voted for him every time. I have listened to the CD over & over. I am a Paramedic in Laurinburg, North Carolina and I just happen to be off on June 5th. Also my son lives in Winston Salem. I would love the chance to meet the band. Please consider me for these tickets!!!!

Also I think " Crashed" is the best song on the CD!!

You are looking at a future star & HUGE Daughtry fan!! If it wasn't for you guys the guitars would still be hiding in the closet. It would be an honor & a pleasure meeting you all at Ziggy's!!

Thanks for your consideration~daughtryfan34

Gotta bring 4 year old to meet chris, she cried herself to sleep when we didn't meet him in Greensboro !!!!!!!!

I need some more daughtry fix........... pick me please!!!!!

OK, Mr. Big TIME (aka CD), this is my last shot 2 C U guys close to HOME!
Pretty Please!

My wife would flip if I won VIP for her for our 1 yr. WEDDING ANNINVERSARY! She really deserves it!

I know that I already did this for the tickets but something really big has changed my plans. My boyfriend bought tickets for the show on e-bay so that he could suprise me. But the only suprise is that when the tickets came there was only one ticket. We contacted e-bay and they said they will give us a refund. Thats nice and all but my parents are coming all the way from OH just to babysit so we can go to the show but I don't want to go by myself. This will be the first time in months that my boyfriend and I will have some time to ourselves. So im really in desperate need of the tickets now. Please help me out!!!

Does anyone have 1 or 2 extra tickets they would be willing to sell? I gave away one of my tickets to the Raliegh show so I am hoping the faver will come back around. I can be reached here just reply under the ziggys show page and i will contact you.
Thank you so much, just another fan trying to get to see Chris.

My mom is the anonymous fan who inspired your biography....."In the Hands of the Master.....Rock has been Resurrected"!!!!!!

I am trying to get my door into the local newspaper. What better way, than to be able to meet and greet with one of the most popular local bands, "Daughtry." What an article/interview that would be.

I teach middle school kids for a living...who is more deserving of VIP treatment than a teacher???

Winning or losing, whatever happens.
Spent 4 years living in McLeansville.
Would <3 the chance to meet Daughtry.

Did anyone go to the Homecoming at Grimsley High School in Greensboro when Chris returned from his elimination from Idol to play with Absent Element? Does anyone remember signing the van?? I signed the van after meeting Absent Element before the show. My question is... where the hell is that van now? lol

I think it is absolutely what Chris and Daughtry have accomplished in such a short time. Chris has come a long way from that service advisor for Honda. I wish you all continued success. Chris...just a personal message...BATMAN says hey. By the way thanks for all of the autographs for my family. Keep up the good work!!!!

You're great, fantastic, I could use a trip out of state, in MPLS I'll be stuck in nosebleed

Chris Daughtry 사랑해요

Drove through the clouds and danced in the rain on mountain tops
Looking down to the world below our feet but you don't see me anymore
I can't believe what we said the night after we fought for the thousandth time
You looked at m
