I was just so giddy with pure joy to see you all again in such a small venue! Brought back memories of the old days!!!

This was my first acoustic show and the first of my Birthday trifecta!!! Nothing makes me happier than a show, so what better way to spend my birthday week than with my friends on a road trip and you!!!

I had been wanting a pic with Chris for so long and I couldn't believe it when I saw them out by their buses signing autographs and taking pics with the fans. It was a dream come true! Chris was so down to earth and made sure that everyone who wanted a pic got one, and JP was so nice and welcoming. So, ok there are 13 songs on this setlist too. I didn't realize there were that many. I just freaked out when I saw that All These Lives was on the list. It's my fav song on the cd, and the first time I've seen it live. But I really want to hear them do the cd version live. The acoustic version is great, but the cd version is my absolute favorite. Oh, and Long Way is sooo good. Chris said it would probably be on the new cd. (fingers crossed)

I am happy for all ya'll that got photos with the guys! My friends and I left after we got our autographs because we figured it couldn't get any better than that. I really under estimated Chris and the guys! I just hope I get another chance some day for a photo with ChrisI Can't wait until the next show, and hope its a small venue!

OMG!!!!!! YA ARE SO LUCKY, I HAVE YET BEEN TO A SMALL VENUE CONCERT, BUT I HAVE BEEN TO THE HUGE CONCERTS . BUT, HAVE NEVER MET THEM, I AM GLADD YOU ALL DID MEET THEM , IT SOUNDS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!! ALL YOUR REVIEWS WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

listened to them all night!!! And yes, the small venue was AWESOME. That's the main reason I wanted to drive 5 1/2 hours to see them!! And with it being General Admission I could get close to the stage. Sooo perfect I don't see this smile going away any time soon.

My husband & I drove up from Alabama EARLY that morning. We got to the Peel at around 2:00. There was a relatively small line. There was a big group that got there around 8:00 that morning. Way to go guys! So we were just about 15 people back. The hours waiting passed by surprisingly quickly. We met some great people.
So when the doors opened, we rushed in and could've been on the rail, but would have been waaay on the end. So there were two girls standing dead center of the stage (right in front of Chris' stool) who were, amazingly, shorter than me. So I got in behind them, right between them. So we were 2nd row, but it might've just as well been front row. When Chris came out I was literally about 8 to 9 feet from him.
I was hoping for an all out, plugged in rock fest, but I knew it would probably be acoustic since it was a small place. It didn't matter because I wound up LOVING the acoustic show. Even with my crappy camera we got some great pics which I will upload later. The only bad thing about where we were standing was that we were getting a lot of bass from the monitors, and it made it hard to hear Chris clearly sometimes. And since we were so close, we didn't get any pics or sticks coming our way. The people who did catch stuff were so lucky!!
So they opened with You Don't Belong, and it was sooo great. Chris was making some sweet love to that mic!! LOL I took a pic of the set list so I can get the order right later. Oh, and Chris had the COOLEST shirt on. It had the Joker from The Dark Knight on it. They did do a new song that was really great. Chris said that he had written it with a guy from Lifehouse(sorry I don't remember his name) They ended with TABA, and of course it totally rocked.
Joey was cracking me up with those great faces he makes. And he was sooo great on Helter Skelter. The show was beyond fantastic, and I was in awe of being soooo close to them. I've never been that close to anyone before! Oh, and my night was made absolutely perfect when between songs I yelled "JP" and he smiled and waved at me! I looked at my hubby and said, ok I can die now. lol
So anyway the best was yet to come! After we stood around inside for a few minutes, we went out to the buses. I thought it would be awhile before any of them came out, but it wasn't that long at all. So Chris comes out and there is of course a big crowd around him. We jump in and are trying to make our way to the front when I notice Steely and Brian. So I get Steely's attention and we talked to him for a few minutes. I have to say he's just THE sweetest guy. He's Michael's fav now. He wanted to know if we liked the show. He and Brian were great and signed autographs and made pics with us. We fianlly got our tickets up to Chris to sign, and talked a little to him. No one was taking pics with him yet, so we just got out of line. We didn't know how long he would be out there, and we didn't know if we would get a pic with him or not. But I heard him say, I'm not leaving until everyone out here gets a picture. How cool is that?!?! So we get back in the crowd to get our pics, and I'm wonderin' where JP and Joey are. Just before we got to Chris, I saw JP come out and get on the bus. After we got our pics w/ Chris, we were walking down the sidewalk by the buses and JP gets off of one! I think I ran down to him, and I'm surprised I didn't tackle him!! He was soooo nice. (Just like I knew he'd be)
He took the coolest pic with me and w/ Michael. He talked to us for just a few minutes and I was so beyond cloud 9!! So we go back around and there are still people getting pics w/ Chris. He's such an amazing guy to be so accommodating to everyone. So Michael & I get our pic made together w/ Chris.
So I'm still waiting for Joey to come out. It was early, and I was not about to leave because he had to come out sometime. The last people were finishing up w/ Chris. He made sure EVERYONE had a chance at a pic before he went back inside. So there are only a few groups of people left waiting, and I wasn't going anywhere until I saw the infamous Joey Barnes. While I was waitin' on JB, Chris came back out and got on the bus. He saw that there were a few people still there, so he stuck his head out the door and said, "Did everyone get the picture they wanted?" I could not believe how great he was about that!! So after a few mins. Joey came out! I ran up to him and told I'd been waiting on him, but he wanted to put his stuff on the bus. I was trying to calm down in the mean time. He came back out and made some pics w/ a couple of people, and then it was my turn! He was really nice, and yes, he does give the BEST hugs! I have a great pic, and we talked for a min. or 2. There were some people there that he knew, so I didn't want to take up any more of his time, so we left. I think I floated back to the hotel. Sorry to be so long-winded, but I had to share my AMAZING, WONDERFUL, AWESOME night with ya'll!!

First of all, I have been a fan from the beginning, but this is only the 2nd time I have seen the guys live. First time was in Atlanta with 19,999 other people. We were on the 11th row so that was nice. They were awesome there. The Orange Peel was so small & personal and I LOOOOOVED IT! We got in line around 5:15 - met lots of great people and chatted the 1 1/2 hours away. There were probably around 100 or a little more people in line in front of us. When the doors opened, we were able to get on Josh P and Brian's side at the front at the barricade at the far right. I loved it all - the new songs and the old ones!! All the guys were ON!! We met some great girls there: Mary Ellen, Gina, and Rhonda - we are already planning to hang out & catch some more Daughtry shows together. ROAD TRIP!! Yippiee - WOO HOO!! I took several vids so check out my you tube channel under my id.: scmonkeyshinejovigrl. Most of them are uploaded now. It was EXTREMELY HOT inside the OP but we did get one of the guys that works there to turn on a fan for us and aim it in our direction so that was a nice little blessing! We rocked out the whole time and Chris even acknowledged us when were were jumping up and down to TABA. We got to meet ALMOST all of the guys after the show, get pics, and I got J.S.'s signamoture as well. The only thing: We NEVER saw the JOEY B man - I heard he came out a little later for a short visit and unfortunately we never saw him - we scooted back down to Wild Wings and that is when we missed him. Did anyone get any of those Free HUGS??? I wanted one but maybe next time!! Josh P was there at WW's but we left him alone - we had already gotten pics, etc., with him and he was with a friend so we just left him alone to hang out. I never saw anyone really approach him there. Trust me - it was tempting to go have a sit down and chat him up but I held back! LOL!! I loved the acoustic sound and cannot wait to see them live again! Hoping for some more dates to be announced sometime in the near future! It was so nice of them all to come out and spend some time with all the fans and sign things / take pics. Great group of super nice down to earth guys! It is awesome to see that even with their enormous success they are still like a bunch of guys playing at the local club when it comes right down to it! Thanks guys and I hope to see you all again real soon! You rocked the house last night!

Thank you guys so much for such an incredible show! This was the perfect ending to my birthday weekend (my actual birthday was Saturday)! I didn't even find out about this show until the middle of last week so it was an awesome birthday surprise.
I love that you guys will still come play at a small venue even after you are used to playing for thousands! My friends and I were standing about 4 rows from the stage just left of center. We got some amazing photos, I have posted a few of the best. I also caught one of the guitar picks Chris threw out to the crowd. I think it was the one he used to play "Breakdown" but I was so excited I can't really remember. My friend was the one who yelled out "I love you Chris" during a quiet moment between songs and Chris said "I love you too", so now she is telling everyone that Chris Daughtry told her he loved her!
I loved the acoustic sound of the songs, it was cool to hear such familiar songs in a different way. Of course the new songs were great too!
It was so incredible of you guys to come out and sign autographs after the show. My friends and I were in the group that mobbed you as soon as you came out. My friend was the one right up in Chris's face flashing pictures with my camera while he signed autographs. She took like 15 shots. Thanks so much Chris for putting up with crazy fans! Even giving a big cheesey smile when she asked you to. I uploaded this shot, its classic:) We were joking on the way home that she should join the paparazzi!
I wanted so much to get a picture of myself with Chris. That would have been the ultimate birthday gift, but I never could make it to the very front of the mob to ask. But, I was able to reach through and give my ticket stub to Chris for an autograph. Thank you so much for that!
This was my third show so far and by far the best concert experience I've ever had! I wish you guys all the best! Good luck with your travels overseas! Love you guys!

I have been to 13 shows now, and this one like everyone else was a little better then the time before!!!! The new song is beautiful!! He opened with You Don't Belong, and I know it'll be a hit as well!! Meeting you guys after the show made it an absolutely wonderful ending to a perfect night!! Welcome back guys!!

So it was a great feeling! And yes ms2323, it is amazing how sweet and thoughtful they are to their fans! And how down to earth they are!! And to Amanda_41585-I thought I was gonna faint! Sounds like I may be the only one that feels like this, but I thought last night's concert was the worst I have seen. I liked the smaller venue and the change in style of the concert was pretty cool too. It was alright, but I would have to say both last year's state fair conert and his conert last time in Charlotte were alot better.

Can somebody tell me what the first song he did was? I thought that was the best one of the night.

What an amazing show. I have been lucky enough to see you guys 4 times and have never been disappointed. I went the first time you were in Asheville (loved it,)took my son to see you at Furman(loved it)thought the crowd was a bit dead but you guys rocked, Atlanta with Bon Jovi (WOW,) and took my daughter last night back in Asheville(Oh Yeah.) I love you guys more every time I see you.THANKS!! I loved the new songs and cannot wait for the new CD. I also wanted to thank you for taking pics with us You are toooo sweet to do that!

I just wanted to say that i am so proud of Daughtry for doing what they do best and rocking out the house! This concert was better than last year it always gets better never worse with you guys I was closer this time and got some wonderful pictures! Pinky i'm jealous how in the world did you get that picture i would have fainted right there lol! Anyways Daughtry you are the greatest band of all time and thank you so much for coming to Asheville nc you make it possible for people to see you in concert!
