I know the shows was weeks ago and I'm just getting around to posting about it but .... It was an awesome show. I took my 5 year old daughter and it was her first concert ever. She had a great time and stood up and danced and sang every word. She was so upset when we left because she thought she was going to meet Chris and didnt get to. She also told me she didnt want to leave because she wanted to sleep there! I am so glad Daughtry came to our boring old town of Melbourne. It was such an awesome experience to share with my daughter!! I hope they come back again some day!

Have to agree, we were on the left side and it seemed to be the only side that had people on their feet.

YEA, THE LEFT SIDE RULED AT THIS SHOW Smiling

First of all, I would like to thank DO and RCA for an awesome VIP expierience. Being on stage with the band was incredible. and meeting them afterward was even better. The only bad thing was that we were told that we couldn't make a lot of noise or stand up and sing. It's very hard to be that subdued at a Daughtry concert.LOL

A special thanks to RCA Ed who was very kind and answered all of our stupid questions.

Most of all, thank you to Chris, Josh, Brian, JP, and Joey for all being so sweet. All of us fans very much appreciate what you do for us.

The show was incredible, from beginning to end. Chris and Mike did an excellent job on Helter Skelter. And of course, Steely did an awesome job on Crazy Train. I loved the little dance. Jp, Brian and Joey, fantastic as usual. They all looked like they were having a blast. Chris was absolutely amazing.

I sold the tickets I had to a guy (at face value) who never knew that his wife was a huge Daughtry fan. Now he is too!! They just kept saying what a great show it was.

Definitely a night I will always remember.

I have to say this was an awesome show I have only been to 2 of their shows with just them & they did GREAT! just like always!. I was very surprised more people didn't stand, I kept saying man I wish I had seats over on the left side they were all having a blast I had ppl behind me yelling telling me to sit cause I was blocking their view then ummm stand! lol then cause everyone was sitting I felt werid being the only one standing but either way it was still a great show, well worth the 2 hour drive even more worth it meeting the guys after the show. NO pic with Chris AGAIN seems every show I go to they say no pic with him then I turn around and see all their other shows everyone get's pics with him DARN IT! lol but I got my pic with Joey again he is the sweetest man ALIVE! when I told him I had a 2 hour drive he asked if I was okay to drive awww! then since the fence was so high and we had our arms around eachother for the pic he held my arm while I was taking it down so my jacket wouldn't get caught Smiling all the Daughtry guys are so sweet & down to earth I already can't wait till they come back down here! I LOVE ME SOME DAUGHTRY! Eye-wink

I think the normal electricity that is part of a Daughtry show was a little different because it was an acoustic performance. It let me appreciate the bands talent even more. Really have to thank my girlfriend again for introducing me to the Daughtry experience. We had a great time, and like other people was a little surprised at how many people sat through most of the show.

Enjoy!

If I'm not mistaken some of the people that didn't not enjoy the show like us die hards did(on our feet and rockin) are either season tickets holders or something along those lines. Now keep in mind the King Center is no Amway Arena(the locals know what I mean). But luckily the King Center did not have any shows going on Tuesday so Captain Hiriams was able to use the King Center for the show. Thank goodness for that cause I can't think of any other place they could have moved the show to if they did have something going on there. It would be nice though if they could set up some type of system that anyone that has the prime seats that probably wouldn't have gone to show(since they probably didn't know who Daughtry was)sell them to those of us who would move heaven and earth to score those seats!!!!! The only thing that I was disappointed with was there was no merchandise! I was all set to get more daughtry shirts especially since this was my son's 1st official concert. Oh well have to wait till next time Smiling

how do I see your picture and video posts on myspace?? I have an account, but when I go in to view, I just can't do it.
I need help, thanks!!!
And keep the reviews coming in!!!

Last night was show #7 for me and it never grows old!!!! Like the other posts I do not understand what was up with the front row??? How on earth do you sit at a DAUGHTRY concert. I am SO glad I had the seats I had. We stood the entire show. Was it just me or did anyone else notice Chris seemed to be having some problems with the sound? Did anyone see the group behind the curtain? Was that the VIP section?? Just curious. What a great night I still can't believe I saw Daughtry at the King Center in good ol Melboring.

This was my first live Acoustic show....I wasn't sure what to expect. It was awesome!! Enjoyed Helter Skelter and Steely's Crazy Train Reggae style. We were in 6th row in front of Steely. There was no way I was sitting down for this....sorry if I blocked anyone's view! Ha......no I am not really!! lol

It was a great time.......thanks Daughtry. It was cool when they threw a bunch of t-shirts into the crowd. Funny seeing Joey throw off his socks and shoes at the end, silly guy!! I will upload some pics and video on my myspace!!

THANK YOU DAUGHTRY FOR COMING TO MELBOURNE AND MAKING THIS SHOW WORK, IT WAS PERFECT.

Show #7 from Florida to Canada

Last nights show was awesome! The guys sounded and looked great. It was hard for me to see Joey because Steely was seated in front of him from my view point. Mike Sanchez from Dirty University showed up and did Helter Skelter with the band. I can not say enough about the show. It was my first acoustic show and now find it hard to figure out which show I like best.

I would have to agree with the post below about nobody standing up. HELLO PEOPLE, we are at a concert, a Daughtry concert at that. I would have killed for front row seats last night, but it seems the blobs of Brevard County get them. ROCK OUT OR GO HOME! I made sure that everyone around me knew I would be standing and not to even ask me to sit down, and they didnt... they were right beside me and behind me rockin out too. I was 6th row and the first row standing.

Steely, Chris, and Joey came out after the show and signed stuff and took pictures. Brian went to the bus and JP hauled butt in a convertable with family. I was shocked to see Chris out with such a large crowd waiting for him, but hey I'll take it. Everyone was in good modes, including Kevin Smiling

Awesome night, now waiting for my next show

The show last night was TRULY AMAZING!!! Daughtry played another outstanding performance!! I would go see him again an heartbeat. I was unfortunately disappointed in our "Mel-boring" first row. I'm amazed that they managed to stay seated the entire time during Chris' performance while the rest of us were up on our feet ROCKIN' away. Could be the fact that no one less than age 65 were in the 1st row. How on earth did they manage to get those tickets? I'm sure many of you die hard fans out there would have killed for the 1st Row and would have got up on your feet and ROCKED OUT like there was no tomorrow!!!!

Check out the video clip of "All These Lives" from last night's show and some pics on my myspace page.

Did I just read that Dirty University was there? Damn I knew it! Why did I say I wasn't going to this show? ohhhhh I remember. Work. LOL

Ya'll are so lucky you got to see that! Hopefully this time there is a video.

A lot of mentions of Chris but nothing about Daughtry yet... hope to hear about the whole show, not just one member. Smiling Like... did Steely sing? Did they do the Foreigner cover? Was Joey wearing any signature attire, making a new fashion statement? Jp get new ink in the last two minutes? lol What songs did they do? Did yall get to see All These Lives? Not that I don't think Chris is the pooh but they are THE pooh all together. Sorry... Cant say THE S*%@... trying to cut back. Smiling

I havent seen them since Vegas... Going thru withdrawl... dont want to get hooked on anything more serious so hook a sistah up. Please. Smiling lol

Hope everyone had an amazing time, everyone makes it home safe. No one is too hung over for work tomorrow!!!

Just got home a few minutes ago. They were awesome! You can tell they are having so much fun up there. What an incredible show! Chris' friend from Dirty University did a song with him, too. It was cool to see him again(He opened for Daughtry at the Orlando Hard Rock show). Well, as usual I will be waiting patiently for them to come back down here so I can see them again!!!!!

Thanks for coming to Melbourne guys!

This was by far the best show Chris has done that I got to experience!!!! Of course would have loved for him to have played longer!!!!!!! Thanks Chris for fitting Melboring(as us locals call it) into your schedule! Maybe next time you could do 2 shows so we could show how much we love you!!!!! P.S. The tshirt rocked by the way!!!!!!

Hope to see some great reviews!

Was standing in line the day the tickets went onsale at the King center and with less then 10 people ahead of me I hear the dreaded words "show is sold out" but I was persistant and got tickets this afternoon!!!! I am so excited I can't think straight! Moral of this story- never give up looking for tickets because they usually end up with some tickets available the day before or the day of the show!

Hope ya'll have a great time tonight!! I'm bummed I'm missing the show.

Take lots of pictures to share. Smiling

Really looking forward to seeing the show tonight. My Girlfriend brought me to the first two shows, and I have been a big fan since. Even with all the confusion on where the show was going to take place, I know it will all be worth any inconveinance. Hope Everybody enjoys it as much as I know we will.

Can't wait 'til tonight!!

WTG! Still looking for tix here.

Does anyone that's been to the Kings Center know if the upper level ones are worth it? Was hoping for something closer, but I guess if it gets me IN the concert I'll sit anywhere.

VIP winners! See everyone there...CANNOT wait.

I can't believe it. I finally won VIP!!! I am soooo excited!!!!

I won VIP finally!! I would not be at this concert otherwise. I was so bummed that the tix were going on ebay for so much!! Anyway, see you all there. Smiling

Tuesday is my b-day and I'm totally bummed that I have missed out on tickets BOTH times they've gone on sale. Sad I thought I had some secured through craigslist, but they went and put them on EBay AFTER I said I would meet them. If ANYONE has tickets or knows of someone that wants to sell theirs I would LOVE to know. Thanks!!

Oh, and I really just don't have the budget to pay too much on Ebay for them. *sigh*

ON MY WAY TO WORK THIS AM, MY MOM CALLS TO TELL ME THE SHOW HAD BEEN MOVED TO THE KING CENTER. I CHECKED IN AT WORK, WHICH IS 5 MINS FROM THE KING CENTER, WENT BACK HOME IN COCOA, GRABBED THE TICKETS AND BACK DOWN TO THE KING CENTER. I GOT IN LINE ABOUT 9AM AND ABOUT 50 PEOPLE WERE IN FRONT OF ME. I STILL MANAGED TO GET ROW F. NOT BAD BUT I WANTED GA FOR FRONT ROW. SO I CANCELLED MY ROOM AT HIRAMS (ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE) AND NOW I DONT HAVE TO CALL OUT SICK FROM WORK. LOL

We were successful in exchanging our tickets today when the box office opened....thank GOD!! Got ROW F. Wanted to let everyone know of a hotel we found within 8 miles of the King Center...we went there and checked it out. It is affordable and the rooms looked nice. The name of hotel is Tides Hotel Waterfront.

Does anyone know if it will still be an ACOUSTIC show...i guess so since the tix still say that?

If you have Capt. Hiram tickets, you have to exchange them at the King Center Box Office starting today at 10am through Monday. They reserved the best seats for the fans who originally purchased. I waited in line for 3 hours this morning. I was 3rd in line and exchanged my Capt. Hiram tix for 2nd row tix at the King Center. I also purchased 4 more tickets for friends who missed out the first time and the best seats for them were upper level..so, basically you're in good shape if you have tickets from the Capt. Hiram's event...they will honor them.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE DAUGHTRY THIS TUESDAY!!! WOOOOHOOOO!!

I BOUGHT TICKETS FROM A SCALPER AND PAID THROUGH THE NOSE IN ORDER TO SEE THE SHOW AT HIRAM'S. THE PLACE IS A SPECIAL PLACE FOR MY FIANCEE AND I. NOW I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXCHANGE THE TIX, BOOKED AT ROOM AT HIRAMS WHICH IS ALMOST AN HOUR AWAY AND PAID 250 BUCKS TO SEE HIM IN AN ARENA TYPE VENUE. BAD BUSINESS.

OMG! I want to scream! I finally got through to the King Center, (after an hour & 45 minute of calling). They sold out so quick! I guess you had to be there standing in line to get them. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted these so bad. April 29th is my Fiance's 23rd birthday and he has been a Chris Daughtry fan since he first auditioned on Idol! I wanted to surprise him with tix. If anyone knows any information on available tickets, please post! PLEASE!?
