As a parent, it is so refreshing to find a band that everyone in the family enjoys. We have four boys ages 6, 10, 11 and 12. The older two listen to hiphop and such but thanks to Guitar Hero, they are coming over to the Rock side. The 10 year old is my little Grunge head. His favorite cd has been Nirvana Unplugged since he was 4. The only time when Chaos isn't ruling my house is when the older boys get together and listen to the Daughtry cd. The very cd that lives in the youngest's radio. It is the first thing he turns on in the morning. He calls the local radio station daily requesting Daughtry to the point the DJs know him by name. At night, he puts "It's Not Over" on repeat. He informed me the other day that there was only one person who could sing "It's Not Over" better than him. When I asked who, he responded"Don't be silly, Chris of course". I never said he was modest.
My husband and I have seen Chris in concert and wish we had brought the boys (but we really enjoyed the night to ourselves). I think Daughtry would be an excellent choice for any parent who doesn't want to sit through The Wiggles or the latest fad boy band. how can you not love a band the whole family can rock to?!?!?
omg
Seeing the guys live is a must!!!
