I think you, Mr Daughtry in the best sense, are a beautiful man, inside and out.
It'd be wonderful someday to meet you & have a chance to talk, I was born/raised in your hometown and live "next door" to it now. It seemed as though I remember you, before stardom, that is having, seen you at your previous place of work.
I've wondered, what if you had never became a contestant on AI ?! That you may still be in your previous occupation, not dissatisfied by just not having reached your full potential or calling. Yet you stepped out of your comfort zone, took a risk and it paid off, this is encouraging to me and so many others, understanding it took hard work, determination, perseverance, a willingness to sacrifice.
I understand it will take more of this but it will surely pay off. I pray only the best for you and your Family as well as your band and associates. It is said you will be performing here in my city next month before the women's basketball game takes place. It'd be great to see and hear you. I ordinarily listen to contemp Christian music, some Country and other types of music but theres something about your music that I love as well. I here bits and pieces of "Home" , it definitely touches me.
I was flipping through channels on my mp3 player, while at work the other day, I didn't recognize the song but instantly, I recognized your voice, its very unique, none like it, I've loved hearing you eversince your competition on AI. When ever I have a bad day and think there is no one out there that is happy, no celeb, stranger, or even a happy friend to brighten my day, I think of this picture. Though he is a celeb and a stranger to some he still finds time to make some other stranger happy. It takes someone with a pure heart to do something like that.
Though i am only 13 I know that there are many mean people out there, but Chris is not one of them. Thank you for taking the time to do that Chris.
