1. I'm a huge NBA basketball fan. During the playoffs if I have no tests on the day my Spurs have a game, I'll stay home and watch the game (even if there's class). Been doing that since I was 13!

2. I've received my certificate in debate adjudication... meaning that I can judge at highschool-level debate competitions!

3. Since Chris Daughtry's days on Idol during the top 24, I've written his name on every pair of shoes I own! (my running shoes, converse chucks, adidas all stars, vans, jack purcell, nike shox etc)

4. I absolutely love drinking orange soda.

5. I can talk for hours like nobody's business and be as quiet as can be if I dont feel like saying anything.

6. I hate my original hair color (black), and have dyed it since I was 14.

7. I have to bring my sudoku book whenever I go on plane rides.

8. I don't own an ipod or mp3 player, and all my cellphones that I've used so far were free of charge, given by the phone dealer whenever I extend my line. (The limted function free phones lol)

9. I have to drink 3 litres (102 oz) of water a day to prevent dehydration and fatigue and dry throat by doctors order since 2006 when I lost my voice for 2 whole weeks + asthma.

10. I love eating olives.

1. I've lived in Florida my whole life but tend to have a new york/new jersey accent sometimes (possibly because both my parents came from NY and NJ)

10. i've always loveloveloved animals, since I was a little kid. I used to watch Animal Planet consistantly. and I can pretty much name any dog breed just from looking at it.

1. I can be a really picky eater-i refuse to eat burgers or salads!

4. i can be really really outgoing sometimes
5. i tried playing guitar before. i stopped after a while cuz i was just lazy and now i suck.

1. I have been married to my hubby for 16 years. Met him Sr. year in High School and dated for 2 years, then engaged for 2, then married! Wow how time flies!!

2. We have one daughter who is 5 ½ and will be 6 in May. Her name is Angelia and that’s how I got my user name here! We named her after the Richard Marx song Angelia!! Always loved the name and song and said if we had a girl that’s what we would name her!

3. We had to do IVF to have Angelia. We had tried for 6 years with numerous fertility treatments and the last one was IVF and it worked on the first try!

4. I have 2 sisters and I am the oldest, almost 39. My middle sister is 35 and the youngest is 29.

5. In High School I was in chorus and played Badminton(sp?)

6. I LOVE chocolate!!!

7. I have 2 dogs(shih tzu’s) one is 16 the other is 12.

8. I work at a resale kid’s clothing/toy store that is quite well known through the state’s—Good Cents Children in Geneva IL. I was also working at Gymboree clothing store and just left after 3 years. Before that was office work, Data entry and receptionist for 2 other companies! Was at one of them till they shut down. I was there for 10 years.

9. I went on a Bon Jovi fan club trip in 2001 and was in their fan club for years up until about 2 years ago, when Daughtry became my new favorite band!! Still love Jovi, but have a passion for Daughtry now!

10. I love frogs, lizards, and most things people hate!! Have had just about any animal as a pet though the years! Angelia has that passion as well! In the summer we go frog and toad hunting when it rains and it’s like attach of the killer frogs when they are all out hopping in the street!! It’s a lot of fun!! Have been known to bring animals home that are injured and nurse them back to health or bring them to our wildlife facility nearby! Brought a goose home one time when I was living at home and my mom heard something in the other room and the goose was walking around!! LOL

don't know how interesting they will be, but here I go...

1) My Daughtry CD is the only CD I have ever had that I listen to each and every song, over and over again and never get sick of it!

2) I am the youngest of 6 kids.

3) When I was little - I had a tin foil ball. (PeeWee's Playhouse) I used to ask my mom if I could take some Reynolds Wrap to add to it - not really the point, but I didn't care!

4) I played the trumpet in High School - loved playing pep band and I even got Perfect Attendance for playing at all the sporting events my Sophomore year (I know - what a loser, but I went to the games anyhow so why not play, right?)

5) I have two kids - 1 boy, 1 girl. What I always wanted, but now I wonder - maybe I should have another. I had my son when I was just shy of 21 and my daughter when I was just shy of 25. I am afraid they will be out of the house and I will be so sad b/c I will feel too young to be so old, ya know?

6) My biggest fear in life is to lose a family member.

7) I loved NKOTB - probably the last one in my class to stop listening to them! Also - the last one to stop playing with Barbies and getting Happy Meals! In my defense - my b-day is in July - so I was one of the youngest in my class!!!

My golden birthday is this summer and so is my daughters!

9) I have never broken any bones, but I did have Carbon Monoxide poisoning when I was in 6th grade.

10) My favorite color is purple and I like Spaghettios! Not my favorite food, but I like them - people think that is weird! Favorite Foods are pizza, spaghetti, subs and Chinese.

thank you for inviting me to this thread. My life has been both eventful and uneventful.

1: I was born 05/10/1951, the third of seven children. I didn't get a very good start in life. I was born with was called clubbed feet, back in the day. I spent the first five years of my life in a Hospital for "crippled" children and adults, receiving surgeries and rehabilitation. I was three years old when I started walking. ( I hope I don't bore you all)lol. I can't believe I am talking about this, because it takes alot for me to express myself .
2: After all of that I started first grade in a "normal" school. I never really felt accepted.
3: I have worked several jobs, yes normal jobs, the first one being a nurse's aid in a Nursing Home. I quit that job, after being forced to bathe a dead body...ugh...her eyes would not stay shut.
4: At nineteen years of age, I got pregnant with son number one, who is now thirty six years old, got married, and of course the marriage failed, I was too young and immature, and my husband was, as well.
5: Low and behold, I "fell" for the next guy who gave me attention. He and I had a son together...he is now twenty nine years old. Eventually we got married and that also failed...he was always too drunk to be the kind of husband he could have been.
6: In and out of several failed relationships until Terry came along. He is an amazing man. For the past several years He has had some major health issues. He is now in a rehabilitation hospital. Talk about the power of prayer, He has knocked on death's door several times, but is so strong willed, He always manages to "bounce" back. I think He is the purpose of my "being".
7: I have one Granddaughter (Haley), seven step Grandchildren and one step Grandchild on the way.
8: I also experianced the life of no indoor plumbing, as a child.
9: Fell in love with DAUGHTRY.
10: Now working for a company that makes Health and Dental supplies.

Like I said, I hope I didn't bore you all with this. Actually there's alot more, but I don't really have the time...have to get ready for work.

Thanks everyone who invited me to tell more about myself! Good to know people care.
Now what haven't I already told?

1) I was born in London, England, and am almost a cokney - my dad was a true one! (should have a 'c' before the 'k', but word didn't print out then) Sound like one, even after being in New Zealand for 28 years!
2) I loved doing ballet when I was younger and had dreams of being a ballet dancer. Still love to watch it.
3) My ambition when I was leaving school was to play the guitar on the stage with a rock band - and that's what I told the careers officer who visited the school. Would have helped if I'd actually got a guitar and learnt to play.
When I was a teenager, I did phone up a musical manager and got a singing audition. I reckon I was really awful and don't think he took me seriously!
4) One of my other passions in life is animals. My special concerns are for the Mountain Gorillas. Have been on many fund-raising events to help them. I also love Chimpanzees! Want to help so many animals in danger, so in the end joined the World Society for the Protection of Animals - so I can help them all - well in a very small way, but at least I feel I am doing something.
5) Love the sea - well looking at it, not being ON it! Love walking along a beach, sitting watching waves crashing over rocks, or whatever.
6) Happy being on my own, and being in deserted places rather than with lots of people. Often wonder if this is because I'm an 'only child'. Live in the country and love the space and being surrounded by green trees and hills.
7) Did I ever say I love my dogs and share my life with 2 Golden Retrievers. Used to live with 6 and showed and bred them then. Both the ones I have were my own puppies - well, from 2 of my own dogs!
Been in Scouting as a leader for nearly 30 years! Cub leader for many years, but management roles more recently.
9) Love reading - favourite authors include Robert Ludlum, Lee Child, Jeffrey Deaver, Frederick Forsyth, John Grisham, Brian Haig.
10) Like to do cross-stitch for relaxation. Trouble is, don't know where to put the pictures I've done now.

this a shot. I don't know how well it will go b/c I am not super interesting but....here goes:

1) I have known that I was destined to adopt my children since I was a child myself! I have always had this feeling in my heart that I was meant to be an adoptive mother. Kinda hard to explain to most people though. I am in the process of adopting from Russia. This is a very long & time-consuming process but so worth it.

2) My husband is now celebrating being "cancer- free". It has been 5 years since his last radiation treatment & all is well. I am very thankful for this!

3) I LOVE making people laugh! I have a very dry sense of humor though, so some people do not always "get" what I am saying.

4) I have a "sense" about things. I know or dream about situations sometimes & it lets me know the outcomes. Ex: when my husband was waiting for the pathology results of his tumor, I had a "dream" that the doctor told us it was cancer. Keep in mind that the doctor had told us that there was NO WAY that my hubby had cancer after the removal. A week later ( in real life) , the doctor gave us the results that it was cancer.

5) I am the oldest of 3. I am 30, my brother is 27, and my baby sister is 16. BIG age difference. I have practically raised her& it has been one of the greatest joys of my life!

6) I listen to my DAUGHTRY cd literally EVERY day!! I feel like my day is ruined if I haven't heard a DAUGHTRY song atleast once a day!

7) Being a true Gemini, I really do have a split personality! It does feel like it sometimes! Look up GEMINI & the personality traits & there will be words to describe me P-E-R-F-E-C-T-L-Y!! LOL!

8 ) I love to read!! It is the perfect "get away" for me! I am a sucker for romance novels & how the girl always finds true love in the end.

9) I am a romantic & am married to one of the most unromantic people alive. Things are definitely interesting at my house!

10) My dad is on disabilty now due to a brain injury. He was assaulted by a complete stranger in a fast food parking lot one nite & left for dead. We have never been able to find out the complete details of that horrible nite & probably never will. (My family has peace in the fact that everyone must answer for the bad things we do in life.)

1. My name is Monica and I have three children and six grandchildren. I love to get together with all of them and we just have a good time.

2. In my younger days I was always quiet and shy. Since I have matured I have come out of my shell a lot. This website has been such a blessing for me. There are so many great people I have met that all have one thing in common, Daughtry!

3. I use to dance and listen to bands a lot until just a few years ago. My kids friends call me Mom because they say I am cool because I keep up with todays music. I love Daughtry for who he is and the music he creates.

4. I HATE to cook anymore. After so many years I just don't enjoy that task anymore but because I have a hubby that likes to eat I do what I have to do. I have worked almost all of my life except when my children were very young. I am still working.

5. My husband and I are really complete opposites. He never meets a stranger and I am more quiet but I talk to people if they approach me. I feel inadequate when speaking at times because I feel I am not fluid with my words. I did graduate from High School but did not go to College because lack of funds.

6. My daughter has health issues that will effect her for many years but we are coping with it together.

7. I love the sun and the beach but because I have had Melanoma it is rare that I go out for the day in the sun. I lather up with good sunscreen, as I did today. Please all you young gals, know that it will catch up to you in later life. I use to be a sun worshiper and got burned all the time. Please be careful.

8. I love to watch movies every weekend with my husband. I love reality shows and watch as many of them that I can.

9. I love sweets! That is not a good thing but that is my addiction. I don't eat large amounts but have to have some kind of sweet almost everyday. My favorite is ice cream!

10. I love to buy Florida items like tropical fish, shells, starfish etc. and display them on a couple of shelves in my living room. Boy this was tuff, I am kind of boring.

1) I once stole a yellow price tag number off of a Kroger grocery shelf because it was a number 5 and I was 5 years old.....I thought it was cool, but my parents caught me and told the Manager....he said he wasn't going to call the Police this time but I shouldn't take things that don't belong to me......(yes, I am still allowed in Kroger stores and still shop there.....just at a different location..lol)
2) I love children and animals and for some reason, they immediately take a liking to me even if they are shy....stray animals always come to my home and babies let me hold them
3) My IQ is 143 and I love to write--lyrics, poetry, fiction...and I can sing, but I'm too shy to let anyone hear me
4) Until I had an accident several years ago, I used to be thin and could walk a mile in 10 minutes
5) I used to be a cheerleader in High School, but yet I was a Loner (figure that one out)
6) I got married the day after my 18th birthday because I knew I wasn't going to college (I know--stupid), but had two beautiful children before I divorced 13 years later...I recently remarried
7) In the past, I've been kissed by Harry Caray; Jesse Jackson lusted after me on a plane until my fiance told him to knock it off and sit down; I used to watch young Matthew McConaughey play ball when I lived in TX; I've met Jonas Salk, Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Robert DeNiro, Rosanne Barr, Sylvester Stallone, Gene Siskel, the Karate Kid's Mr. Miyagi, and several other celebrities, but most important of all--I've met all of Daughtry;
I am one of five children and have a brother I haven't spoken to in 15 years because we don't know where he is......He still doesn't know that our Mother passed away on Mother's Day 2 yrs ago
9) I grew up in a poor family (my bed was a couch), I was bullied in grade school because I was so shy, my father had a heart attack and died 3 months after I got married so his family blamed me publicly for his death at his funeral, my neighbors lost my son at a park when he was only 3 yrs old but we were finally reunited, I was rescued by Police after having been held hostage for 4 hours by my best friend (an old boyfriend) who was upset that I was moving away, a manager was mad at my Boss but hit me instead so I filed a complaint with HR and suddenly found myself out of a job, and a few years ago I broke my ankle so badly that my foot was detached...ruined my "play hard after the kids leave home" plans that I had mapped out for my life
10) Weird thing is: I never felt any pain from ripping my foot away from my leg and even weirder still is I still enjoy people, have a good sense of humor, prefer not to be serious all the time, and laugh a lot despite having had a rough life for the 1st 40 years.

p.s. Oh....and can I just say: Go Memphis Tigers, go!!!! NCAA final 2 on Monday night!

7- I suffered Appendicitis when I was a child and it burst inside of me! I spent a whole moth without eating or drinking at the hospital in order to do the Appendectomy. now I don't have it and you can see the scar on my tummy!

8- I mostly wear things in black because it's my favourite color and I think it makes me look thinner

9- I love punk style and music, but I actually don't know what punk really means!

1. I am very family-oriented. I'm close to my family and think they are wonderful. They are the most important thing in life. My husband is my soulmate and my best friend.

2. I am a Daughtry lifer. I love music, but normally I just buy the music and go to concerts and I don't get that involved in anything else to do with them. I have been a big fan of U2 since I was a kid, but have been a supporter of Chris since his audition on AI. That was the first time I had ever joined a forum or became interested in someone's career. There is just something special about Daughtry that makes me a devoted fan and they are the only people to have ever brought that out in me. : )

3. I was a flight attendant before 9/11 and I love to travel. But I also love to be at home.

4. I LOVE Mt.Dew. How some people love coffee, I am the same with the Dew. I have to start my day with one. LOL I hope I don't glow green. LOL

5. I enjoy long walks.

6. I love HGTV. I like to watch House Hunters, My first place, etc etc, We also like to do home projects so we get some good ideas from these shows.

7. I have a strong faith. I care about the things that last.

8. I enjoy movies. I'm a sap so I love a good love story. If it's a scary movie, I am that chick that screams so loud I scare everyone else in the theatre. I enjoy thought provoking thrillers that make you think and figure out what is going to happen. I love a good comedy that is just for pure entertainment.

9. I like medical shows like Grey's Anatomy but I'll hear a few symptoms of something and will think, oh man I just might have that. LOL

10. I'm getting tired of all the reality tv shows. There are still a few good ones, but it seems everyone and their dog has a show now and it's annoying. LOL
