Sure hope they get their act together and settle that budget - the show MUST go on! As of now I can't make it to Sauget but I am going to Kansas City on 9/2 to see them!

Did anyone else hear that the Illinois State Fair for this year is now in jeopardy since the State hasn't been able to set the budget? Does this mean the fair could be canceled all together for this year? Any insight would be appreciated.

Hey all! I have 2 tix for the show for sale. They are Standing Room Only, track tix...meaning get there early & you can get right up by the stage!!! Unfortunately, I can't make it. I'm seeing the guys in Rockford on August 30th though so I'm way excited about that show. I am selling them for the total price I paid for them, which is $67.50. I can ship them to you via DHL (like FedEx) for free, and you would get them the next business day by like 10:30am or noon, whatever you prefer. "Alone time" is not in my vocabulary, ever!!! I've been to 3 gigs thus far, but not yet alone. My hubby has attended all with me and my daughter just the one. Hubby is awesome, supportive and a fan, but he's not a FANatic like you and I, so it dampens the experience a bit. But, I have to say being front and center 2nd row in KC was the best, so it didn't really matter who I was with!

We have 2 or 3 more concerts this Summer and I have tickets for the 3 of us for all of them. Now that she's been there, she's hooked!! I couldn't dare go without her!! I enjoy having her and watching her eyes glitter when she see's them. Josh Paul is her favorite and he missed her show, so we're hoping she'll get to meet him at one of the others!! Although, topping her experience with Chris might be difficult!

I didn't make the little one stand or wait in line. Daddy took her around to enjoy the festival - so she had fun and didn't drive us crazy!!! I waited in line and let them do what they wanted. Once the gates opened I got our spot down front and they joined me about an hour before the show started. All the people around us recognized her from being in line initially, so it all worked out real well. Certainly, you'll have to tailor your experience for your child, but this is how it worked out for us, and it was a great experience!

I am bringing my girls too. I won't do the shoulders...but I'll pick up the little one...although my little ones are older than yours. Remember...when we stand in line...we don't literally STAND there the entire day. That's what friends are for....

BRING HER...although it will be a totally different concert experience....hmmmm...rethinking this! LOL.

Nah! I promised them the next all ages show...and I can hold it over their heads all summer long!

Checked my tickets - all 3 SRO!! As for kids, I took my now 6 year-old to the Wichita River Festival (40,000 in attendance) and we were about 5th row - she had a great time!! She spent it atop Daddy's shoulders and had the best seat in the house. She will be attending this concert with us also!! Gotta start 'em young! Can't wait to see you all there!

I received my track tickets in the mail the other day and noticed that 3 of the 4 tickets were for SRO (which is what I ordered all 4 for) but 1 ticket is for an actual seat. Just wondering if anyone else had a similar situation.....

My daughter wants to go to a Daughtry show. She asked when she could go to one. She is 4 1/2. Its cute, because when she sings home she says... "I'm going home, to the place I DON'T belong'

I have an extra track ticket, but I know forsure she wouldn't do good down there. She would be telling people they are to close to her.

I have 2 reserved decent seats, and 2 GA. If I end up taking my daughter, I will more than likely go with the reserved seats. She is only 4 yrs old. I don't think I should take her to the track. I would really like to take her, but she is kind of young. I don't know what I will do. You girls keep me informed. If you take your kids, I will bring her along too. She would have a lot of fun at the fair and the concert, but a full day of all that, would be too much for her. She would be a grouch by the time of the concert, so I think I will take her to the fair about 1-2 hrs before it is time to go see Daughtry. I would be so cute to see her at the concert, singing along to all the songs wearing her Daughtry shirt. LOL
