there are so many good songs, don´t know which to choose

ok September, Home, you don´t belong, life after you and over you and the rest too Laughing out loud sorry can´t choose one Eye-wink

definitely What About Now and September

I absolutely love "Life After You", "Every Time You Turn Around", "Get Me Through".... and well... every single song from both albums...

No doubt its "Breakdown" and "Home".

Surely it's very difficult to pick one of all those master-pieces. I would say that this moment "Life after you" and "I'm going home" are my 2 favorites. Greetings from Cyprus

Over You
September
Life After You
All These Lives
What About Now

I could listen them all the time ^^

I cant say which is the best one for me becouse they all are awesome. They dont have any bad song. But one of my favorite ones is All This Lives

I don't regret this life i chose for me...

For me, it's hard to determine what song is my favorite because everytime I hear his songs, I always sing along with it.

In your first album, "What I Want" and "There and Back Again" are the songs that I frequently play on my iPod..

But now that you already released your 2nd album, "You Don't Belong" really rocked my world.. Is this song intended to be a theme song for WWE?? "There and Back Again" was the official Theme song for WWE Backlash 2007 (or 2008??) because it really rocks!! This one (You Don't Belong) could be another theme song of WWE (hopefully..) or maybe the new Entrance Theme of Batista (who knows??!! laughs.!!)

Reet - I've realised how to listen to 'No Surprise' all the time too! Trouble is, I can't concentrate on what I'm writing while I keep listening to it. So may have to turn it off for a while!!!!

Be next weekend when I see 'Rock' Idol. Sure the Daughtry performance will be up on here before that though!!!

Am really glad that all of Britain - and so my other countries - will see Daughtry sing this!Smiling

Hi h1tmn, and welcome. Hope you'll come back to chat to us.

And just reading back Reet. Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Will be in England from the end of September until the end of October, then to Germany for 3 nights to meet Anja from here, and maybe Claudia!!!Laughing out loud

Always loved the West Country of England, and can't wait to be there. At one time was going to move to Devon or New Zealand. No work in Devon- well seasonal, so came here!!
Just the flying bit to get through! That's big worry for me!!!!!

Favourite song is All These Lives, I love it!!!!!!

Great to hear that you have actually got your tickets booked Yvonne! How long do you hope to stay in the UK for?? I agree that both Devon and Cornwall are lovely. But Remember to bring some Daughtry with you when you come, cos you won't get to hear him otherwise. Sad

And as for Iceland, yes its a very lovely place. I know one other person who has also been and they loved it too.

Yes Reet - not just hoping to get there - but have tickets booked!!!!
I definately am coming 'Home' - to the place where I belong.Smiling Leave here on 20th September!

Be so good to see places I knew and loved so well. Especially the 2 -3 weeks in Devon and Cornwall!Smiling
London's a bit of a worry. would like to spend a week with so much to see, but very expensive. Wish we had someone we could stay there with, but know no-one who still lives there!!!!

I have a friend in England who went to Iceland for a holiday! Quite a different place to go! But she loved it too.
And 'Home' being played there!!Smiling

of Chris on CSI:NY the other night, as it was shown here on UK:TV - which as i'm sure you can appreciate was very special. And there was a real quick 'flash' of him on AI the other night in a compilation clip! So we do have to make the best of the very little Chris that we do get here.

Well Yvonne, I suppose i have travelled quite a bit. In 2007 we went to Iceland, which was amazing. I loved the country - so different to anything i had ever experienced before. There is such a fresh, free, wild untouched beauty about the country. Maybe in some ways it could be like New Zealand?? But i loved it there.

And much to my amazement i heard Daughtry 'Home' being played frequently on the radio! That was heaven and such a pleasant surprise! Smiling

So i take it you hope to return to the UK for a visit this yr Yvonne?? And if so i can understand why 'Home' has such an impact on you at the mo. (although i'm fairly sure that it's much nicer living out in New Zealand than being here in Jolly Old Blighty! Eye-wink

And i'm pleased to hear that your Daughter has managed to move on from her previous relationship, and can understand how 'Over You' applied at the time.

When Nights were Clear ..... You Were the First Star that I'd See......

Hmmm Reet - I've followed on this forum, the air-play of Daughtry in the UK - or lack of it!!! Right from the beginning!!!

Iceland plays the music a lot too you say? And seems like you and Iris have both travelled!! My turn this year!

This thread is Favourite Daughty song! But a lot of times the songs have a very special meaning for someone!!!

It's 'Home' for me right now!
But "Over You' was so right for my daughter last year, when she finally split up with her partner who had abused her for many years!!! She'd often threatened to end it, but always gave him another chance. Every word of that song was so right then!

actually getting some radio airplay of Daughtry, along with of course some TV appearances!
Sad

In the UK sadly we get next to nothing. The only time we get to hear Daughtry through any form of media is when AI is on - and if we're real lucky you get to hear a Daughtry song be played and its like 'WOOOO!!!!'. And even better you may get a TV performance on that show.(Oh OK,and the Ellen show) Otherwise nothing.

Thinking about it - i lie - a bit. As i said on the other thread there was one appearance on CD:UK and maybe 'It's not over' got played a little on the radio then. The only other track i've heard played here was Autumn 2007 -when 'Home' would be played, but sadly it didn't really chart Sad

So when i have been to both the States and Iceland - its just been so WONDERFUL to be able to hear Daughtry played when you are out and about!! I totally appreciate that when i've been there.

As for 'Crashed', Claudia - well when i hear this song i always think its to do with when Chris met Deanna ( i don't know, i've just assumed). But the last time i heard it, i thought of you and how you came to be a Daughtry fan and can also see how much that song applies! So from now on, i may well think of that track as being your song! Eye-wink

Ok, Dan - we now need to hear what you fave Daughtry track is?? That's if you are able to name a fave, as i know its way difficult to do.

(Must stop now, so i don't make this one into an essay too! )

...absolutetly agree with ypu "womanontop"...

I share a lot good and not so good memorys with Daughtry songs.... But I will not miss any of them..even bad or good....

can´t get enough from every sound he´s producing!! LOL Smiling
Totaly in love with all songs, but the first one I heard was *It´s not over* ! Can´t find the right words of my feeling inside this moment!
A special fav song is *Crashed*, cause there´s allways something I crashed into new! New friends, new memories, new feelings and much more! So I think it could be my "song for life" !
I note that every DAUGHTRY song has a story of my own personality, each song is connected with something in my life! With something good I loved to remember!

Hope to hear some more soon, can´t wait to the 2nd CD !!!

Guess I'm real lucky in that way - each of the Daughtry songs has been played heaps on the radio here. Some reaching number one in the air-play lists.
'Over You' was in the top 40 for over a year of the station I listen to. Only just being played a bit less. But still hear INO, Home and FLT too!
Am waiting for 'What about now' Did hear it about the same time it was released in the US on a station I don't often listen to - one that plays new music. But mostly the type of music I'm not into!
So hard to have it on all day hoping to hear one Daughtry song, when my station plays them regularly!

Daughtry music so popular here - one very good reason they should visit!!!!! But small population is another very good reason that not may big acts do!!

we don't suffer from 'too much' airplay of Daughtry songs here in the UK.(Cry, Cry!) Cos we don't get any! But i do know what you mean Yvonne, in that sometimes if you hear a song too much, it can tire. Its still an amazing song - but you know that you just need a break from it for a bit.

Agreed, that 'Feels like tonight' is my fave video too - and that may be cos Chris i think is in that one most! Eye-wink

And i wondered when 'There and Back Again' was going to get a mention from you, Yvonne - i knew it had to be on that list somewhere! Eye-wink

When Nights were Clear ..... You Were the First Star that I'd See......

I love the acoustic 'Home too and the normal 'Home' is one of my favourites. Right now, feel choked every time I hear it - thinking of me going 'Home' for a visit after so many years!!!
These faces and places (in New Zealand) are growing old and I'm going 'Home'.Smiling

From the begining 'Over You' was my favourite, but think I've heard it so many times on the radio over the last year, that not so much now, though still love it.
Really love 'Feels Like Tonight' and the video is the very best for me.
But also 'What About Now' I love, and the words. They meant so much to someone here that I know, with a lost love being found after many years. I think of that, and think of the video and meaning that goes with that too.
And of course, "It's Not Over' will always be a favourite.
And most outstanding stirring performance is 'There and Back Again' on the DVD!!!!

I think that I just agree with everything you said Reet!Smiling
And yes, do love hearing Chris sing those acoustic songs so clearly.

Oh Fade, this is such a difficult question to answer - because i seriously love so many Daughtry songs, that i'm not sure i could pic just one out as my overall favourite.

But i too do LOVE the acoustic version of 'Home'. I think it really shows off Chris' voice which is just beautiful. And this song in particular just makes me 'melt' every time i hear it.

But i also love the normal version of 'Home'. I also love 'Used to', 'Feels like tonight' and 'What about now' and .......... i gotta feeling that the list is endless.

But i do also have a passion for all of those Acoustic Daughtry tracks!! I just love being able to hear Chris' voice so clearly! Smiling
