Manchester Show - Too Loud to Enjoy :(

Hi there -

I was looking forward to the concert last night. I was an 'early' adopter fan of Daughtry and saw you guys several years ago at a MixFest in Boston. I was very, very excited to see you again!

We were sitting on in a lower section close to the front corner of the stage. We were there early enough to catch the tail end of Cavo and the entire Lifehouse set. However when Daughtry came on, the sound was so loud and distorted that it was hard to discern which song was playing. The lyrios were completely washed out and the sound was so loud it was nauseating. (The opening bands' sound was perfect)

After a few songs the general consensus among people sitting around us was that the sound setup was awful and not enjoyable. My boyfriend and I decided to find another seat in a section directly opposite the stage at the far end of the arena. While the sound was a little better, it was still way too loud and distorted to enjoy. We left the concert early. On the way out, I stopped at the ladies room and took an informal poll of the women who were there. EVERYONE (Young and old) agreed that it was too loud. As we exited the arena, we found that we weren't alone in our decision to leave.

You left a lot of disappointed (and temporarily deaf) fans in Manchester. PLEASE have your sound crew turn it down a few notches. (Or have them check with Lifehouse's crew- they had it just right).
