Chris Daughtry & David Cook
I just realized something that maybe you might not have realized, or maybe im just weird for thinking this, but doesnt david cook look alot like chris daughtry in the face? i mean if david cook didnt have hair?
also, i am wishing that someday Daughtry and David Cook would do a song together and maybe put it on the website or on Itunes better yet. If anyone thinks this is a good idea please respond to this =D.

DC obviously studied CD's style. Maybe thats why he won. But he's talented.

Do they look alike? I don't think so. I think if you put still picutures next to one another, they don't. However, I do see a resemblence in performance styles. I am not sure if that was because DC studied CD when he was on idol or not, but I do like both of them. I think that if David Cook can become a successfull artist in his own right and make his way outside of the Idol title CD would consider doing a duet. But I do think someone was right when they said CD has broken away from Idol, so if DC can make it on his own without the Idol behind him, I think CD would respect him enough to make a duet with him. JMO

CD and Bo Bice. Chris has broken away from Idol. I don't think he'll do a duet with Bo Bice or David Cook. Although I would love to hear either one.

Well, DC has a bit of the "rocker" quality that CD has personified so when you see him perform, you can't help but think of Chris. Methinks that on the show, DC was kinda trying to ape CD's style. (I'm not hating) Anyways, it would not be a bad idea for them to do a song together . One collabo I can't wait for is Chris Daughtry with Bo Bice. Now that would be something!!

Well - this is from my husband who is completely un-biased and very outspoken with his opinions!
We're a bit behind you here in New Zealand at the weekend was watching the Top 5.
When watching DC, he said he's similar to Daughtry in style of what he sings - and then actually added "but Daughtry sings much better!"
From him that was really something!!!!
He's so right aout the singing, but to me, they're completely different people and performers too.
David did well and good luck to him. But not for me!
Seeing them perform together isn't something I'd worry about seeing.

I don't think they look alike at all! They each have their own qualities, of course. Love David's eyes and pouty lips, love Chris's..........well........everything.........Bald is definitely beautiful. I do hope we hear them sing together to quiet all of the american idol critics out there! Hope Chris will consider it! Has anyone heard Chris' reaction to David's winning? Just curious......

no one ever said that DC was better than Chris, they were just saying it would be cool if the two did a duet together. Other musicians have performed duets together, it is nothing out of the ordinary, and when they do it is not a competition about blowing anyone out of the water, it is just a way two musicians come together to share their passion for music.this isnt a choice of who anyone thinks sings better,just a what if situation,if they sang a duet together-what would we think?
i think they both have excellent voices,and it would be awesome to see.

I was going to avoid this thread altogether but saw that some of my friends have commented on here and decided to hear what they had to say and I agree, there is no way in hell that these two guys look alike at all. I don't know how on earth one could possibly think they resemble each other and I don't like the idea of them performing together either.

Not in a million years. Chris is UNIQUE........one in a million, often imitated, NEVER duplicated. As for a duet? Chris would blow Cook off the stage with his powerful voice....again NFW!

I don't see the resemblance. I like David but he's no Chris. I would like to see them perform together, though. Maybe on Idol as guest performers. Wouldn't that be cool? Add it to the growing list of Chris' duets like this one with CHRIS with BON JOVI

I totally disagree. DC and Chris both have differant looks and personalities. Chris...outgoing personality and very humble. DC...kind of the arrogant type...too sure of himself...sorry, I just don't care for David.
At this point, I'm pulling for Syesha....good luck to her. Like I said many times before, all of the contestants will have a bright career ahead of them...there are no losers.

Chris is just HOT beyond words (and a lot has to do with his overall personality and how he carries himself)! David is pretty hot too, just can't hold a candle to THE MAN!

I don't think they look alike at all. at least david changed up his hair style, because when the season started it looked nappy to me. cook is ok looking but chris is just smokin hot! . I can't see them doing a duet together either.how interesting would it be if idol got all three rockers bo bice,chris and cook to get together for the show.
