Impossible is nothing
I called to see how they will do the will call tickets . I was told that a few hard tickets were sold . I want very happy when i heard this . I was told that EVERYONE will be in line together and taken to a table area , this isnt by the stage so the people with the hard tickets will have to stay in this same line . ( i really hope this is the way it will happen ) Than all of us will than have to show our id etc , than be let in where the stage is .

I just called and the man said we can use cameras tonight.

Does anyone know for sure how will call system works? Will we have to leave the line to get our tickets?

That sucks about the hoodie, but I believe that they have them at the concert!
My sister keeps picking on me saying she is going to wear a beer hat with the straws and some thing that you put around your neck to keep you cool. I know she won't embarrass me like that, but if she does she can stand by you with your umbrella hat:)

Hey girls...you know you can't trust the weather people...it is BEAUTIFUL outside today...live in the Chicago burbs...and it was suppose to be a total washout today...rain/storms all day. It is NOTHING like that at all.
So - go for it. Bring a baseball hat or ponytail holder...it won't matter.. I'm telling you guys, it is HOT and SWEATY in these places. SWEATY. Right girls?

The temp is supposed to be tolerable but when
it's damp, it tends to give you chills, and they're multiplying
then you will lose control.

are temporarily out of stock and doubted it would be

I have been watching the 10 day forecast the last couple days and it does look pretty rainy in Madison:( I am going to keep checking it though because that can change and most likely will. Let's hope it does! Only 1 week to go!!!

I'm so jealous of you girls who've already been to a Daughtry concert! My friend and I are going to the Annex next week and are crazy huge fans. I just checked the weather for Madison next week and it looks like we shouldn't have to worry about coats, but maybe rain. It rained at the last concert we went to so we bought a cheap umbrella and just tossed it when we got there. I can't wait until Wednesday night!!!

And coates were a real pain in Chicago. I held mine all night long just because I didn't want it to be trashed. That was a nice coat to Linda, dang that it got ruined!
Let me find out the info on coats at the Annex..give me a few to ask the co-worker. Hopefully it will be very very warm next week and coats will not be needed.

but... I had A HUGE ski jacket in Chicago...which I threw on the floor...on top of everyone elses jackets...and it got trashed. I knew that going into the concert, but OMG it was 22 degrees outside and sleeting...lightly...at times. Brrrr...
Indy...it was warm enought that we left the jackets in the car and we were fine. It is HOT inside those venues...all the people are packed in there. Throw liquor into the mix and some good music and the place heats up! The purse...it was on my shoulder...or on the floor (we were 2nd row both times) in front of the nice girls in front of me...on the dirty coats!
Still bringing the purse...(we need the lipgloss, right Dbug??? LOL
) and the coat...if I do bring one, will be "disposable". Bring something you don't care about!

If you can't take your camera in, you said to just put it in your purse. I was thinking of not taking my purse. Isn't it a pain to hold it through the concert? And your jacket. I've never been to the Annex so I don't know what it is like. Any suggestions?

We did bring the digital cameras...and they worked great.
If your camera has a mega lens or something like that, you may not be allowed to use it. In general, most of the venues have left picture taking up to the band...and Daughtry does allow it. I don't know if we got the official word on the cameras...but you want to bring them. If you can't take pics during the concert...then you leave it in your purse!

Friday night when I went out with friends until 6am, I had a hangover before I even went to sleep! And I paced myself very well as I was DD that night too!

If you bring the hoodie in...prepare to tie it around your waist or sacrifice it to the floor. It is a HOT stinky place, these DAUGHTRY concerts! AND, if you are lucky enought to be in the front, you made need to use it as a PONCHO. Taki get a bit sweaty....it is not all bad though...right ladies...

The cab dropped us off at our sawnky hotel and my hubby went thorugh the auto doors that go is circles on there own... lol I got stuck in there! lol There was too much glass! lol It all looked like an exit from the circle I was trapped in...lol But he said I got out of there and turned to look at it like I was going to beat it up...LOL What a fun night.

dbug- if you bring that giant bag i heard so much about,
you can hold my kung fu fighting gear and I don't really
want to use my skills on bad people but if it will help

Madison is a new place, new concert, new friends. Don't get the wrong idea from Dbug and I...Indy was great. Double Door was just soooo fabulous...and there was such a great vibe with the concert, the bonding with the people standing in line and milling around, that I am hoping Madison can even come close.
Sure it was just your eyebrows....lol And, yea, maybe too much wine...definitely DQ. We wound up there bc Dbug was too COOL for the cups there. WHATEVER!!! Luckily, we won't give her a hard time...since Joey was in DQ...

The captain used to be a friend of mine until someone
made me have some hot cider with him and it didn't
make me feel so good. He has occasionally joins me
for a diet coke but not so much as he used too
My friend lola wilkins will be joining me on the road
trip to Madison. I'm thinking about letting my girls
decorate my windows for the ride up there. They are
little artists.
As far as beautifying ourselves, we need to every now
and again. Believe me, I am not liking my gray highlights.
If you know what I mean. They don't look natural.

in Chicago...there is plenty to do! So, to warm up, we went in the restaurant next door and drank! We had to be resourceful in Indy...other than the KFC, gas station and DQ...there wasn't much going on near Birdy's!
LOL with the lemonade from 7-11! Been there...and now I don't do vodka!
The Captain likes to join me on my adventures. I have a ticket for him!
AND -- LMAO...we (MB20, Cam, Dbug, Julia) and I did that too -- the hair, highlights, the works...someone even got WAXED before DD and Indy! Hilarious! Like it makes a difference! Hey, if it makes us feel good, then we should do it!

in college we did things like stop at 7-11 for a lemonade
slurpee and filled it with some vodka. That worked

my friends went to the HOB show but I couldn't see me taking
my kids out of school for me to stand in line but as it turns out
i should have. my friend got down to chitown around 930 and within
an hour of being there the bouncer let them stand in the lobby!
boo hoo to me. Now i know if i would have went, i would have been
standing in line for hours...thanks for your tip about the styrofoam
cups. too bad for your friends and thanks to your eagle eyes,
i will bring a solo cup. I don't plan on getting out of control, just
comfortably numb!

Styrofoam cups don't hold up.. lol Who knew no booze eats styrofoam cups? lol Look what I learned in Indy! lol But it wasnt me. Really. lol You know when my friends and I did the HOB show in Chicago we had been standing in the same spot with no breaks, no drinks nothing for like 6-8 hours. By the time the show started we couldnt enjoy it, we couldnt SHOW how much we enjoyed it b/c the day had been so draining... there on out we decided no more of that. While Daughtry is on stage you gotta show your love by having fun! lol If it takes a hotty totty to loosen everyone up then show me the way I will play barkeep. lol

I can't wait until this show. I ordered a black ladies hoodie from
the merch. section. I should be getting it soon...I am going to
look stunning it in I am certain. If it is too small, my 11 year old
will have a new cute hoodie.
Ummm.... there was no where in Indy to hang preshow but DQ and KFC. But there was a liq store. SOme of the girls went there to get some drinks. Not me, no I had no part in that. Umm, no. Innocent really.
But I bet the entire line thing is more fun with some secret beverages lets say in a DQ cup or KFC cup. I personally would never do anything like that but all of my friends did. I tried to be the voice of reason. lol 
If they tell you any different they all lie. Gotta watch out for them...lol

The Regent Street Retreat is a great place to sit and hang out, but iIf you go a few more blocks up you are on campus and near State Street which is filled with tons of bars and places to hang out. A local hotel will have an area map and you should be able to navigate around the area easily. Enjoy the show!

is in chicago...side streets. she said there is no
parking garage. also for the preparty don't know
if the bar attached to the annex - Regent Street
Retreat will be open or not. she said that is a
great place to sit and chit chat.
