Hey-o Daughtry fans!!!

Within the past year, I've become one of the biggest Daughtry fans out there. Back in December 2010, my ex-girlfriend broke up with me a few days after my grandpa's funeral. As unexpected as his death was to me and my family, I least expected my gf to break up with me. I was so depressed and utterly shattered. Then for Christmas, my mom got me "Leave This Town" as a stocking-stuffer. As I began to listen to their music, I began to feel a certain connection through the lyrics of each song. They spoke to me, saying, "Just because your gf broke up with you, doesn't mean it's the end of the world. It's ok to feel sorry about your relationship ending, but don't let it bring the rest of your life down. You gotta get back up on your feet, and see that there's plenty of other women out there who will love you for who you are." I know this is stretching it, but this is what I felt after listening to "Leave This Town" in it's entirety.

What it came down to was that Daughtry immediately became an important part of my life. Their songs and their music helped bring me out of one of the biggest ruts in my incredibly young life, and I owe it all to Daughtry. So, naturally, I would give anything to see them live in concert. But I want more than just the normal concert experience. I want to be able to meet Chris Daughtry and the rest of the band, and personally thank them for unknowingly putting my life back on track to where it should be. I know, this may seem like one of the most cliched stories out there for any musical fan, but nothing anyone will say or do will change my mind. I must meet Daughtry live in concert!!!

With their third studio album being released in November, not only am I pre-ordering the CD (Renegade and Crawling Back to You are simply fantastic!!!), but I'm assuming Daughtry will be going on a concert tour across the country. If and when they do go on concert, I would very much like to purchase VIP packages to see them live in concert for the ultimate fan experience. My question to you, the fans, is how much, on average, do VIP packages cost, and what would I be receiving with a VIP package?

Any helpful information about this would be fantastic! I hope I am able to see Daughtry live someday!!! Thanks a bunch!

when do they normally post the shows that has VIP with them?

In response to Jenn6077's post:

Did you have to pay for the ticket on top of the VIP package? I know you got it as a gift, but do you know how much ticket prices were on top of the VIP package?

I received this as a gift last year and would definitely pay for it myself. It was $100 when I went. I got the laminated VIP Pass, listened to 3 songs for sound check, short meet and greet session (which is individual with the band), photo with the band (if you and someone else go and you go meet them together in the room then you are eligible for 2 photos. It's one photo per pass. Example I went in the room by myself met them and did the photo, then my sister-in-law didn't want to go by herself so I got to stay in the room and do another photo because she had a pass.), Daughtry Crew T-Shirt, Autographed Photo, Autographed guitar picks. It was a night I will never forget and will definitely buy another VIP package. They are great guys and so down to earth. As I walked in they were running and jumping trying to see who could touch the ceiling. It was priceless.

Ticket prices vary depending on the venue; generally casino shows cost more.

How much do tickets cost on top of the VIP packages? I'm assuming you probably wouldn't be getting a discount on them if you've purchased a VIP package, would you?

Hi and welcome -

If the band offers VIP packages on their upcoming tour, they usually cost $100 per person. This does NOT include a ticket to the show and they usually limit the amount of VIPs they sell. It usually includes a laminated Daughtry VIP pass, being able to see their soundcheck before the show, a very short meet and greet with the guys just to say hi and shake their hands and a professional picture with the band. Sometimes we get a t-shirt or some kind of souvenier. It's worth the money if you ask me. They are super nice people!

Hope this helps!
