A very upset fan
So mad at all those scalpers!!! I was on ticketmaster at 5 to 10 this morning hitting refresh trying to get 2 tickets and never even could get one. I consider myself pretty savvy at getting hard to get tickets and could not believe I never once got the opportunity!!! I googled Chris Daughtry Chicago and boom all these scalper tickets popped up!! How annoying. I will not be attending the show because I refuse to pay their ridiculous prices and know Chris would not be happy about this either! To all of you that got tickets..... have a great time!!

I hear ya -- it is SOOO frustrating! My hubby & I just bit the bullet and bought our tickets off ebay for the Minneapolis show. Original ticket price for this show was $18 and we paid $87.50/ticket. This is definitely the most I have ever spent on a concert ticket. It is insane. I felt a little sick spending so much, but we decided it would be worth it to see Daughtry in a more intimate setting. This is probably our last chance to see them like this, so we decided to splurge. We were going to go see AC/DC right here in Des Moines (tickets went on sale today), but we decided it would be a much more awesome experience to see Daughtry in this setting.
I truly hope some of you can win tickets or find some tickets at lower prices because I really think these smaller shows are something special and not to be missed! Keep your eyes and ears open because you never know. Good luck, everyone!
I purchased VIP tickets for the Columbus, Ohio show. I am trying to find out how early to get there to participate in the VIP things. Does anyone know who is going that night?

I tried to get tickets for my husband and I to the Nashville concert and all the scalpers got them. I have seen posting for tickets going for 275.00 a piece when I know they paid $20 for them. It really pisses me off. I then tried for the Memphis show and same problem. It really pisses me off. My hubby is coming home from training and about to deploy to Iraq and I thought I'd get him tickets cause we both love Daughtry and no luck. I just can't believe the people out there that are trying to sell these tickets for $275 a piece.
Ok, so for those interested in the Minnesota show, there MAY still be a way for to get tickets... Just listen to KDWB (101.3 FM) for their Daughtry ticket giveaways.. but I am not sure how long they are doing it for.. AND if you register on their website (www.kdwb.com) you can enter that way too..Aside from paying scalper prices, I think this is the only way left to get to this show.. just wanted to let everyone know about it..
And even though I am going, I am very upset at the ticket brokers and scalpers too! I think it's very unfair to snatch up all the tickets and then sell them for their own profit.. These tickets should be for the REAL fans.. I think that is why Chris plays smaller shows, since he wants his REAL fans to get a chance to enjoy the show.. Trust me, I saw DAUGHTRY perform in a small club in Iowa in 2007, with about 700 people there.. and it was awesome and I traveled to Las Vegas in April 2008 and saw the acoustic show, which was only 200 people, and it was probably the best show I have ever been too! So, it just irriates me that people know how bad the REAL fans want these tickets and so they inflate the price.. knowing that some REAL fan will pay for it.. it's disgusting!
As for the pre-sale, they were on sale from July 8th to July 10th on this website as the VIP UPGRADE EXPERIENCE. and that is how I got my ticket and at the time I felt the price was a little high, but I knew what I was getting, so I was fine with it.. and then after seeing what the scalpers and ticket brokers are selling the regular tickets for, I know that I got a great deal!!! I mean an $18 ticket and some of them want to sell it for $75 and up?! WOW, that is just wrong.. since the club is NOT reserved seating and no matter what you pay, you are not guaranteed a certain seat.. you just have to get there early and try to get in the front of the line.. and I highly suggest that everyone arrive at around 5PM or so, since there will be a LONG line and there might even be someone selling their ticket at that time, and maybe they will be more reasonable with their asking price.. I never heard of any presales for any of these shows. I was hoping for one for Chicago, but nothing popped up...seems fishy.

All I can say is wait for the prices to go down. If people don't buy the tickets then the inflated price will eventually go down to its original price. Keep checking TM as show gets closer seats sometimes get released as the shows get closer. I got my Foxboro ticket from the cd order. Good Luck!!

I understand the frustration, I was there. I have my ticket from the cd presale thing but was trying for one for a friend of mine. I was on at 10 and could not pull anything. Just as I was about to give up at about 10:15, I some how was able to pull one up...thank God!

Minneapolis was impossible, and just tried Vegas for a birthday weekend. Nope - nothing ever came available through ticketmaster.
Won't pay scalper prices. Guess I'll enjoy other concerts this summer!
Like Christina, I was online waiting for tix to go on sale. After 10:00 came and went, and no tickets popped up, I called. The representative told me the show was sold out. I asked how it was possible the show was sold out, and he told me that most of the tickets were sold in a presale. I decided to check ebay and funny, 3 sets of tickets are already for sale-2 for $100. I guess I won't see Daughtry any time soon, if ever. If there is such a demand, why no go to a bigger venue?
I as well was not able to get a ticket but my sis did thank God!!!! I don't know how though?! I as well was on before 10 and kept refreshing and right at 10 SOLD OUT!!! WHAT???!!!!! It is ridiculous how all the scalpers have them now!!!!! VERY SAD!! Good luck to you!
