For the people who have been there before, is row 8 too far? can you see the stage?

I was anxiously waiting for 10AM on Friday for the Online PreSale Event. When the clock on my PC hit 9.59AM I started refreshing my browser. I was in ... and I couldn't believe it. I selected 4 tickets on the floor ... when I hit continue after the verification code low and behold I was about to become the owner of ROW 7 seats in the center of the stage on the floor. I proceed to the checkout like someone who had just won the lottery ....when life happened. For some crazy reason my ticket master account was locked out. Desperately trying to beat the timer that glimmered on the bottom right of the screen... my time had expired. I panicked and went back and tried to purchase the tickets again... now row 16 was the closest just 10 seconds later. Ticket Master once again failed me. I ran out of the office and went to the Civic Center to purchase the tickets directly from the Box Office Window. When I got there, the man at the window said that I could only purchase Presale items through Ticket Master.... Freakin' great. I drive back to the house to see if I can somehow get tickets to the Concert, all the while I'm on the phone trying to get in touch with Ticket Master Support... good luck with that. I get home and create a new Ticket Master account with a different email account. I proceed to checkout and this time it actually worked. I went from ROW 7 Seats on the floor to Section 117. The Civic Center holds about 8K people so there is really not a horrible seat but ROW 7 would have been perfect. Also, I was looking at the VIP passes and was going to purchase 2 of them for my Son and I, my Wife and Daughter would have to hang elsewhere. Then I found out that he would not be able to go because of Alcohol being served at some VIP Bar. My son just turned 8. Hopefully he'll be able to meet the band some other way. Sorry for the long write-up, this was really frustrating. We are still very excited about the concert. Rock on Daughtry.
