David Cook's orange bracelet
Did anyone see on Larry King last night the meaning of the orange bracelet DC wears? It's for a little 9 year old girl who has leukemia. The little girl's dad sent it to DC after he spoke with her on the phone. DC said he'll wear it whenever he's on the air. Isn't that sweet? And who does that remind you of?
To all who think he's "coc*y", maybe this will change your mind.

As for the arrogance: I think that there is a fine line between being self confindent and arrogant. DC was VERY confident with GREAt entertaining stage presence from day ONE. i loved it but could see where people may have read him wrong. I think his sweet personality started to come through as the show went on, but he had me from Hello!! Actually, he had me from his second song top 24.

why do people say he's arrogant in the first place? I've never seen any type of behavior that would indicate his arrogance. Simon said once that his performance was "not as good as you (DC) think it is" and all of a sudden he's arrogant. I guess Simon's comments affect other's opinions. All I see on his interviews in the last couple of days is a humble attitude. He's always applauding DA, saying how good he is and at such a young age. He never talks about his own ability. On the today show he yelled out "David Archuletta everybody" for the crowd to cheer for DA, not himself. I think he's gotten a bad rap for no good reason whatsoever.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions but I don't see how this reflects wheter he's c*cky or not.
I will say at the beginning he seemed it but towards the end he got better and he wasn't reflected as being c*cky. But, wearing a bracelet for support shows his personality as being more down to earth, and his sweet side. Just my two cents.
