A chat thread for all the Daughtry Lifers. This is my favorite band. There is something special about them that I have not seen in another artist/group and I plan to be a fan for life.
There are many fans on this site who know one another, some who don't, but everyone is welcome to post. Fans that have been here from the start, fans who have just started posting here more, and new fans.

How can i view the VIP picture i got to take at the concert with chris and his band? i have no idea where to find it. help please thanks
it was a fund time! I got there just in time to get ready for the show. Had a blast with my Daughtry buddies saw guys by buses & went home. The show was amazing & the crowd was lively. In fact Chris said we were the loudest group of the tour. I lost my phone so now will have to get a new one. Time for a smart phone.

Did you watch DH? I REALLY hope Tom and Lynette get back together. It would be horrible for everyone to end up apart for the finale. I really don't like his new girlfriend. Gabby was hilarious!! I really like her and Carlos. I bet Bre ends up with her new lawyer. lol Keep us posted on how things are going.
Our AC went out yesterday. It's been so warm here. Yesterday it was 90 and today it's supposed to be 93/94. Is it already summer? lol Hoping the AC gets fixed today because it's so hot inside right now.

Hey girls, how are you? I am okay but still without internet. We originally had something but realized it was not a good deal so cancelled it before it started so hopefully by the end of next week I'll be able to have internet and tv and stay connected and on top of things in terms of finding a new job, staying on top of things for my certification, being in touch with friends and with Daughtry and everything.
Patty i am glad to hear you had such an amazing time at your Daughtry shows and it gets me even more excited about my upcoming show in seven and a half weeks. That is awesome they are growing so much and doing better with everything. I think its awesome you're going to try and make as much shows as possible.
Terri how are things going with you? I am okay just been kind of stressed and unhappy lately. I hope it changes soon and I am trying to see things in a new light and see what comes of me. Life is not always easy or sunny but there are also a lot of small things that make one smile or feel joy and love and thats what matters most. I am hoping to get back to working out changing my life and making a difference. And no mom has not heard anything different yet but I am sure she has other appointments coming up soon.

OMG both shows amazing this band has really grown from when I 1st saw them in 2007. They have become seasoned performers through & through and I am so exccited for you guys whn you get to witness it for yourselves.

Hey girls how are all of you doing? I am pretty good at the moment. My Daughtry tix finally arrived on Tues and that got me super pumped!!
Patty glad you had such an amazing time at the Buffalo show with your girls and Daughtrys new tour. It sounds so amazing and has me revving to go when my time gets here to see the guys. Looking forward to the solos and Chris' new dance moves. Haha.
Keep up posted on your friend and her recovery. Have you gone to see her at all?
That stinks about finding out about your uncles death the way you did. I can't imagine. How are you holding up these days Sounds like you're going through a lot.

Out of everyone thus far I think I liked Dereks partner and Jaleel the best. The first and last ones were my favorites.
As of Tuesday night I will finally have internet. I cannot wait. The tv will have to wait a bit longer but its cool and I think will work best for me. I feel being able to stay in contact with friends, looking for jobs and all that is better and plus I can always watch shows on the web.

Thanks for all your prayers & well wishes for my friend she is out of the coma and if all goes well she will be going to a rehab facilitty.
Terri thanks for your condolences was shocked to read about my uncle's death on facebook. Can't put into words how upset I am when my dad died we called all the relatives.i was real upse about it tso again thanks for being such great friends.
The 1st show of the tour was amazing I was front & center. My seat was amazing. Hanging with my Buffalo girls was a blast! The set list had so many new songs loved the new additions. Steely's guitar solo was killer. jp's solo bass solo amazing. I love seeing the guys let loose. Chris' vocals were spot on and he has some new dance moves now he has mor rhythm than me. I think you are all in for a treat with the new tour.

Lots of good stars this time, I didn't think anyone was just hideous. I liked quite a few of them. And that William guy was quite the cutie! 
A few really surprised me with how good they were like Jaleel and Derek's partner.

I don't blame you for not wanting to spend money on the ROA shows anymore if the new lead does not seem promising. It just would not be worth it. Oh and good news your friend is out of the coma and things. Have been saying prayers and will continue to say some. How else is everything going?
Kate yes I do have tix for the Daughtry show here in Phoenix. I am waiting for them to come in the mail and won't feel good about it til I have them in my hands. The weather has been in the 80's but the past few days have been much cooler in 50's and 60's but its slowly warming up again. I am sure the summer is going to be extra hot this year. How are things with you?
Terri yeah I am kind of mad about Bre and what Orson did. What a jerk. I cried the entire time during DH. It just broke my heart into pieces esp the funeral and when Susan was making her speech. It was one of the saddest things I've ever seen on t.v.
Anyway can you ladies please do me a favor and keep my mom in your prayers. I know she has to have a lot of tests done b/c the drs say someting is wrong. She put my sister down as a contact list and my sister got info and my mom told her not to tell me. I hate that she keeps things from me. It's so stupid. I am 31 years old and while I may worry about her I want to encourage her and support her. But my sister tells me anyway and says there may be a chance my mom has cancer in her breast. its crazy I found this out today b/c last night at my meeting the topic was breast reconstruction. I wish she would talk to me and if and when she finds out what is really going on I hope she'll share the news with me.
Well hope to talk to you in a couple of days. Sure miss being around and its extra hard staying on top o fmy shows and everything. Need to push myself to get back to working out and finding new jobs.

Hello Lifers!
Hope all is well for everyone. I've got "The Voice" on now ... it is one of my favorite shows. I also watch "Smash" ... really enjoy it more than I thought I would ... looks like things are starting to get really crazy on the show!! Wish it wasn't on so late on Mondays as I only get 4-5 hours sleep and on Tuesdays I'm really tired!! LOL! I've also been watching AI ... lots of good ones on there this year. The guys did a GREAT job on their performance last week ... I can't wait to hear Outta My Head on the radio ... my one musician friend said it should do very well!! Those are the only three shows I watch weekly. Sometimes I get to watch "Who Do You Think You Are?" ... very interesting to me!

Terri - Hope everyone is well at your household! Will give you a call soon! How is Ginger doing? We took our granddaughters to see "Clifford the Big Red Dog". The girls got their picture taken with Clifford beforehand in a Meet & Greet ... they walked right up to him and gave him a hug! It was so cute!!
Shanna - Hoping things are going better for you! Are you having pretty warm temps there? Makes me wonder how hot it may get this summer!! Did you get tickets to the Arizona show ... thought I read somewhere that you did.

SHANNA~I was crying through DH last night!! It was SOOOO sad!! I really liked Mike too and was really hoping for a happy ending for Susan and Mike. I hope at least Tom and Lynette get back together. I am happy to see Gabby supporting Carlos and enjoyed all the flashbacks last night. I'm glad they showed what a good guy Mike was. I hope the series ends on a good note because right now it looks like Bre will go to jail and who knows what will happen to the others.

No more ROA for a while unless I can get the cheapie tickets the new lead wont be able to handle the role saw him when he was an understudy more money for daughtry!
Terri OMG I hated DH. That was so awful and I was crying. I could not believe out of everyone on there they chose Mike of all people to be killed off. It broke my heart and every time I think about it it makes me soooo sad. He was one of my favorite characters too.
Seeing the funeral and things is going to disappoint me. So far I am not liking where this series finale is headed..... Not to be cruel or anything but they should have picked McCluskey or Rene or Ben even... I had a feeling it was going to be someone more important than that tho....

That is very sweet of you to want to help. How are things going for you these days? Sorry your lead is leaving ROA. I am sure its difficult having replacements. When is the last time you will get to see him in the role?
Well girls as much fun as I had last weekend it ended on a sour note. I woke up Sunday morning sick and I felt horrible. Whatever it was my little nephew got, I wound up with. But of him, my sister, mom, and other nephew I had in least. I had to call in to work and my boss was so mad at me and hung up on me and I was so mad. Mine only lasted 24 hrs but my stomach killed me a couple days for no reason and just now am I finally back to feeling normal and okay when it comes to food and all that. Plus it gave me an awful headache the whole time and it was terrible.
Need to find another job soon enough. Going to look for retail around where I live and also concentrate on healthcare. If I don't find something in my field soon it's goign t be a major letdown. But the reason I am looking for retail also is b/c I am not happy where I am at. Plus if I can work 2 minutes form home it'll save me money on gas and I feel I'll be better appreciated. Our new store manager is so two faced and arrogant. One day I am not on good terms with her and the next she's impressed my me and so happy, it's hard to keep up. Nobody is happy about it or her for that matter.
The weather is beautiful and things are going okay. Still getting settled but making progress and anxious to start working out again and all that good stuff. Going to bring my nephew over to my house tonight to stay over and spend time with him. My mom has no idea. Haha.

Kate yes I've fully recovered now from the fall. Thanks for asking. Now sometimes I am just sore from working out or something else. 50's doesn't sound too bad. Thats our low at night or sometimes our low is in the 40's but can't complain. It went from 80 something to 60 back to 80's in 3 days.
Patty I don't even have close enough points for a VIP. Part of the reason is not being here in about a week and not coming everyday. I am not upset tho just grateful I get to see the guys at all. I don't have the best seats but I think it'll be fine. I think I have far right in row 21 or something like that...it could be worse.
Oh and no I am not hurt. That was something I did awhile ago.
Terri I hope you score those VIPs to your show. That would be so much fun. I am destined to get one eventually..lol at least I'd like to think so.
I have not been watching AR. I love that show but their shows are deleting like crazy here and its just hard to keep up. I think it'll be easier once I have internet and tv at home which should be happening next week. 
And yes DH might end up with them going to jail. That stupid Orson. I was happy she found out the truth but not happy he did that. Grr. He has issues for sure.
Last night I went out with some of my favorite girls from work. We met at this mexican restaurant. I only went for the company b/c I heard their food is gross and a couple people I know got food poisoning there. But we wound up just getting cheese crisps and appetizers anyway tho I only ate the cheese crisps and some of the chips and salsa. But omg we were there out on the patio for 3 hours. I have not laughed so hard in a long itme and it was just what I needed!!
This guy came over and bought us all a round of drinks. I think they took a notice to us b/c we ended up being kind of loud and that was them in the beginning. Haha. They were older than me tho but oh well. I had a feeling it was going to happen. After that I met one of hte girls at this bar to see her honeys band play. I've been with this group a couple times and still dont' know they too well and only can place 2 names but they seam to love me for some reason esp her honey. It's interesting to say the least but I am starting to get more comfortable with them. And the guys in the band were super nice to me. Today was a great day at work which has been so unusual lately esp with my boss I sometimes can't stand. Seh actaully praised me today which was a surprise. I am showing her what I am made of. As of April 28 this postion is gone. I am getting the least amount of hours as far as FES's are concerned and it's irritating me. I am going to concentrate on healthcare job and another retail job where I can get more hours.
It's beautiful here and so sunny. In the 80's. I love it but dread the hot summer days ahead. Well talk to you later. Have a great day.

It's sunny here in Ohio ... still a little cool, but supposed to get up to 50 today and possibly 60 tomorrow! Bring on Spring ... my favorite season (except for the bad weather that sometimes goes with it)!

Terri - Congrats on your doggie Ginger! The kids will have so much fun with her. We got our dog Misty when our kids were in junior high ... and she is still here although we don't know for how much longer as she is almost 17 years old and having some problems. I can't imagine not having her around! It's sad when they get old but we had many, many great years and good times with her!! So enjoy Ginger! I am assuming she is an in-house dog?!? I talked with my son yesterday so I will be in contact with you soon ... keep fingers crossed!!!

Sorry to hear you have the flu Terri! Everyone around me has had it in the past couple of weeks ... my hubby, daughter, son-in-law, grand-daughters, mother-in-law, coworkers, etc!!!! I'm afraid its only a matter of time til I get it, but I'm doing everything I can to avoid getting it!!!!!! I just don't have time to be sick!
Renee - Not sure if you still read here or not ... but if you do, could you email me sometime. I lost a lot of my email addresses and I think of you a lot with our one customer at work. Hoping you are getting to at least a show or two during this tour! It's been awhile since I've seen you at the one show during the LTT tour. Hoping everything else is going well for you too!
Well, I've got to get busy ... I worked all day today and the dishes, laundry, housework, etc. is all waiting for me ... won't get done by itself unfortunately!!

Terri she woke up which was a miracle in itself then they gave her an MRI & found 5 bllod clots so they had to do more surgery. She is back in Coma again. She is a fighter so hoping she wakes up again and pray no more clots. She is lucky because they were all operable.
My sister's surgery went well but they found more tumors inside so she has to have another surgery this time a C-section to remove them. The onse she just had removed were all fibroids so praying that is what she has near her bladder. Keeping fingers crossed.

Sorry haven't been around, I have the flu and it's kickin' my butt!! Had a fever, aches, tiredness and now I have an upset stomach. Hope it goes away quickly!!

Patty I have not gotten a ticket yet but I have looked to see what pops up and it's not great so I am a bit disappointed. I tried "throwing" them back but the same seats are what keeps popping up again. But it's me and I always have rotten luck when it comes to scoring great seats. But you are right I do need to go Ive been waiting for a long time. And like you I agree about Outta My Head being a bad ass song. I know its going to thrive.
Work went by well today despite being so tired early on and having to do with cranky people here and there. I hate that our new schedule posts so late. It's usually ready on Wednesdays but with Melanie there it never gets posted til Fri or Sat and its just ridiculous. Hey girls. If you don't mind, can you keep my brother in your prayers? It's the one who has had the heart issues. Late last night, he was rushed to the hospital/into surgery for a ruptured hernia. It's hard for him because his health isn't the best as you know. Thankfully he did well with the surgery, so I just pray the recovery won't take long and he can bounce back quickly. Thanks!
I love The Voice too. I don't watch AI anymore unless someone I like is performing.
Saw the new dates. Bummed so many are mid week, I can't travel while the kids are in school. Glad to see a home show though.
Hopefully there will be more summer dates that I can make.

Hello how are all of you doing? I am okay just catching up before heading out to a meeting tonight. I also have to grab a bit to eat beforehand. I hope it goes by fast b/c sometimes they get boring....Work was okay today and went by pretty fast and was actually the first decent day I've had in several days.
Terri I am glad to hear you had a good time with your parents visiting and that is nice you were able to have a little celebration with her for her upcoming birthday. I have watched the first AR but have not come around to the second one yet. It's so hard keeping up with everything but I always manage to do so in the end of things.
Patty I love The Voice. It's one of my favs and I am having so much fun watching it so far including the audtions. It should be really fun when the whole process starts. Do you have any favs yet or whose team are you for? There is a lot of great talent this season.
Kate thanks, my birthday was on Friday. It was a good one. I am still supposed to get together with one of my friends. She has a gift for me and she wants to either go see a movie or dinner or something soon. And my dad is supposed to have something for me also. How are things going for you these days? Are you all ready for the Daughtry tour? I can't wait to find out some shows over on this side of the US and hope I'll be able to afford to go when it turns up.
It was nice to go home last night and be back into the swing of things. My mom has her moments but she's pulling through. I am at my sisters currently only b/c I am killing time before the meeting instead of driving an extra 20 minutes home and back. We were giong to go to the gym but her dr advised her not to until she gets checked out.
It's been really nice today but wind has picked up so we'll see how that goes. And that's about it for me.

Oh and my friends car was stolen yesterday soon after she got to work. She was doing awful and ended up going home. I felt bad for her. These kids taped it on their phones and were sharing it with the police so hopefully she'll get it back and her belongings soon enough. Scary.
