I enjoyed the show.... but I had a better time at the one in Charlottesville, VA at Starr Hill a month before... maybe because that one was more intimate and fun. This one had more of a stage set up and special lighting. 2 kinda different concerts. Still a good show though!

This was one of the most amazing shows I have ever been too. Daughtry rocks. I hope to see them again soon.

....I know it's a letdown not being able to have a personal moment with Chris, but come-on! The guy gave everyone in that hot, sweaty venue 120% of himself after probably flying in on a red eye from Calif. after taping Ellen. I was standing by his bus and found out from someone who had been inside that Chris had to do a VIP meet and greet afterparty before he could leave. There were probably at least 50 people waiting for him outside and they had a 12 hour bus ride ahead to get to the next day's concert. If he stopped to do pics or autographs with one, he would have had to accomodate everybody. And the rest of the guys NEVER get mobbed the way Chris does. It's much easier for them to be more accessable. Please don't condemn him for being human and having physical and personal limits. I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I just had to say something in behalf of Chris. He gave us a fantastic show.

Let me say first what an awesome show. A very long day and hot in line so after 5 hours and a three and half hour drive from Princeton, NJ,.I know we did not look our best but who cares we got to see Daughtry. Very nervous that my kids would not far well. I suspected some bumps in the road but there where none they where true troopers. And what an awesome husband I have first he took the kids on the metro to the zoo. And then came stood for all those hours. He did not like the CD very much and did all for us. But he loved the way that Daughtry rocked it. He also really liked Day of fire. Thank you to the man next to us how move over so my kids could see. They where so excited. I kept looking at them and they did not know what to do but they where just taking all in. it was the best when I looked down and seen my 6 year old son doing the rock sign with his hands when Cinder Road played his favorite "will rock you" . I knew at that moment that they where having fun. Since I was worried for them I just took all it in also knowing that will probably be our last time to see Daughtry (you never know though). Loved every moment. The best is since the show everyone the kids see they tell them how great it was and that at the end they got to HI-five Chris. How awesome is that. They can't stop talking about it.

PS My son is upset because I can not remember what song Chris told us to sing too. He said that he has to sing it because Chris told him too. He was looking for it on his MP3 player. Just very funny.

Howdy, everybody! I wanted to stop by and say what an amazing time I had at the DC show!
Got there in time to meet a few fellow fans before soundcheck... BaltimoreGirl-- nice to get to talk to you in line as things sorted themselves out!

I was one of 2 selected from the fan site to see soundcheck and to meet the band; they were all VERY friendly! Soundcheck was playful... they had a ball w/ the megaphone! Chris signed autographs for my kids (since I wasn't too sure about bringing them to a Gen Ad show at 9:30 at ages 10, 7, and 4!!! ) My hubby, my friends, and I had a fantastic time -- like none we'll likely see anytime soon -- thanks to you! It's always impossible for my hubby and I to agree on a way to spend a date night. This made it easy, since we happen to agree 100% on Daughtry. (As an aside, Daughtry is the ONLY band my husband has EVER seen twice in one year!!!) :0)

I have to respectfully disagree with im4chris about this concert. This was my 2nd Daughtry concert and in comparison to the 1st time (which was fantastic) this show was phenomenal. I do not think Chris's voice is shot...from where I was standing in the front row he looked and sounded like a rock star. I was taken back by the cheesesteak comment, too, but later I found out that there are indeed cheesesteaks in D.C. that were delivered to the tour bus for the Band.

I am a HUGE fan of Daughtry, but was disappointed immensely in the show. It was painfully obvious that Chris' voice was shot. He was off key several times and was almost yelling. I believe Daugtry needs some back-up too.....and how about introducing the other bad members...they were great!

I had to laugh too at the reference to "cheesesteaks" in DC. Hey Chris, that's Philly.

Needless to say it was still a great night and tons of fun. The 9:30 club is awesome and it was a good crowd.

Rock on....see everyone next time.

Day of Fire was great!-- I thought they were so much better that Eve to Adam.
And Cinder Road gets better every time I see them. Love those guys--they are so great to talk to and never say no to a picture or a hug.
Daughtry was so awesome, but we miss JP so much!!! Thought he might be back for this show since he was on Ellen and Idol, but no such luck. He really seems like a great guy and so fun to watch during a show---I really hope everything is OK with him and his family.
Loved the new stage that they had for this show and Chris,Joey, Josh and Brian were so hot
and really rocking out on every song!
Nice to meet you Irish, Jamie and Tricia? our pregnant fan that was there almost as long as us in the heat--I can't believe no one passed out once we got inside and were packed in like sardines!
Wish I could do it all over again, but the chances of getting any more tickets or time off work for a road trip are not looking too good, but who knows? It might just happen!

What an awesome concert! Chris rocked the house! Day of Fire and Cinder Road were great opening acts as well! That was my first visit to the 9:30 Club...size of the club was great for an up-close and personal type concert. I stayed until a few minutes after 2AM (when the buses rolled away) with about 10 other hardcore fans hoping to get to see Chris for a quick pic...very disappointed considering I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me and had to be to work by 8AM...oh well...an hour and a half of sleep is better than none and well worth it for the chance to see Chris...there's always next time.

Thanks to our very own Daughtry Angel... my daughter and I were able to attend the show last night. Baltimoregirl won VIP tickets and offered her other tickets to us! We can't thank you enough!

This was my first concert in about 15 years and my daughter's first real concert! I was blown away! It was too much fun.

Thanks to all the lovely ladies who let my short stuff daughter move up to see better. She got to touch Chris's hand at the end. She's on cloud nine!

Anyway, thanks Cindy.. you are the best.

that was an awsome show. they rocked that place like no one ever could. i also waited outside untill around 1:15 am. i was disapointed that he just walked right on his bus. but he was there for a long time and a little tipsy so i kinda unserdtand..lol but im glad i stayed and saw that girl that tossed her beer in the street and had to sweep it up!! it woulda been nice get a pic with chris tho but what can ya do? mayb next time =]

Daughtry rocked the house last night. We got to talk to him before the show, OK, as he was walking by. After their sound check they came out to their tour bus, he did stop for a second to let people get pics.

Chris looked HOT!!! I love his eyes and that smile. He came down after the show to thank the two people who were there in wheelchairs, he was very gracious. He made their nights.

The DC concert was awesome. CHRIS ROCKED the house of course. OK...I didn't bring my camera therefore I have no pictures. Can someone share their pictures with me please. I have to agree....the Pearl Jam cover was AWESOME!!! My hubby, who is a HUGE Pearl Jam fan, was even impressed. You guys kicked ass and really seemed to enjoy yourselves as much as we enjoyed watching you. Just wish it could've lasted longer. Can't wait to see ya'll in July @ Merriweather!!!

I also waited for Chris until about 1:15 am and my husband was doing push ups on the sidewalk he was so bored waiting. I had a great time at the concert, but I figured after waiting that long we would have a chance to get a pic or something. I was kind of disappointed too. I hope we didn't miss him after we left. I guess the guys had to drive to SC, but it would have been nice just to have a few seconds with Chris. The bigger they get the harder it is going to be to ever meet him. I thought this was my one and only chance. My babysitter even called wondering where we were.

On a positive note, I got some good pics during the show and had a great time Rockin with Daughtry! Chris looked hot as usual and seemed to have a great time in DC.
