Reviews for this Calendar date

I justed wanted to say thanks again Daughtry for rockin out another great show. I got to go to the Asheville concert. I got to finally take my best friend, my sister, Kagan to her first concert ever and it couldn't have gotten any better. We ended up moving our way to the front before the concert started. My sister was so pumped and ready to go. The first band, Days of Fire rocked and drenched us as well, but when you guys came out, Kagan about flipped because she is so in love with Chris and we were so close. We both got to give him slap on the hand and bout got squashed, but it was so much fun. Then after the show we waited around to see Chris. We got to meet the hottest drummer out there Joey in his dodgeball lookin outfit. He was really cool. My sister and me were about to leave cause it was way passed her bedtime and she had school the next day then Chris came out. We got our shirts and signed and he was so cool with everybody. I wish I had by camera it was in my car way on the other side of the building I was afraid we would miss him if he came out. We still got to meet him and that will never go away. It was just a awesome because I planned on taking Kagan, but couldn't get tickets and when I did it was the day of and totally surprised her it couldn't have got any better. Just much love to Daughtry because yall can really put on a show and be some cool dudes. Will see yah sometime, hopefully you can come back to Fayetteville.

Live it up and rock hard

I was one of the lucky ones to catch the Daughtry show at Jesters Pub and it was one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. My friends and I got to the club around 5 and a line was already forming, and the doors didn't open until 7. It was way beyond hot outside waiting to get in. We ended up being about 10th in line to get in. When we got in the club, we were lucky enough to get a spot at the stage. The first band, Day Of Fire, was awesome. They have new fans in all of us. The second band, Cinder Road, was okay, but it would've been fine with me if it would've been just Day Of Fire and Daughtry performing. When Daughtry took the stage, the place went crazy! During one of the songs, I got to give Chris a fist bump. When he finished performing Home, he had three picks left to throw out. He threw the first two out in the crowd and then went to slap hands with me and gave me the pick! After the show, my friends and I went behind the club to see if we would be lucky enough to meet Chris. The drummer, Joey Barnes, came out and signed autographs and posed for pictures with the fans. He was extremely nice to everybody out there. Around 12:30-12:45, we were almost ready to go home because we had an hour drive home, when we heard the tour manager say that our patience had paid off. I looked up and Chris was coming to sign autographs for the people still left out there. The tour manager told us he didn't have a lot of time out there, so needless to say everybody was trying to get to him. He was super nice and very gracious to everybody there. He signed for everybody and posed for pictures with people if they asked him to. I had met Chris in Greensboro at the American Idol tour last year, so I asked him to sign an 8x10 of me and him and he also signed my cd. I know I speak for everyone left out there last night when I say thanks for coming out there and meeting the fans. I know that it meant a lot to me and the people I was with that they got a chance to meet him. It was a great end to an already great night. If you have a chance to see him in concert...GO!!! It will be well worth the price of the ticket!

OK I think I am awake enough to post now.
I stay about 30 min From Jesters so we arrived at Jesters around 4:30 we were about 20 people back. It was hot as H--- So my friend and I kept taking turns going to the truck to sit in the air conditioning. Well me and my all excited self locked the keys in the car during one of my breaks. At this time they began taking names and checking tickets well i had no ID but I did have a ticket and the Jesters staff was really cool about the whole thing. I decided to wait until after the show to worry about getting in my truck. Well the entire show rocked. We were right up in front of the stage, Cinder Roads about blew my friend away, they have a new number one fan. Chris was awesome as always, the set had changed a little from the last two concerts I went to, just awesome. Daughtry is out of this world. Missed JP jumping around the way he does.
So after the show we talk to security and they were absolutely great. They tried and tried to get in my truck, no luck. Lock smith at 1200 am $175.00, but Cinder Road to the resue. One of there road guys use to be a lock smith, got in with a little help from security. So now it about 1230-1245 am still no sign of Daughtry So I resign myself to a kick ass concert and go home and go to bed.

DAUGHTRY

Well, what can I say. The music was awesome, but the whole VIP and concert experience left a lot to be desired. The VIP meet & greet was disappointing to say the least. We drove 2 1/2 hours to get there, were there 15 minutes early and spent the next hour standing outside waiting for the band to be ready. We went into the sound check, which was cool, and then had our meet and greet, which was not. We were told no individual pictures of any of the guys, but we would take a group picture. So Chris and the guys come out and sit behind a table, we get literary 30 seconds to to walk down the table saying hello to the band and then out the door the shoved us. No group picture, not even a personalized autograph. I realize Chris is being worked ALOT, but he was so cold during our 10 seconds of face time that I was truly shocked. He said "how ya doin" while looking at someone across the room and then signed my book and pushed it down to the next guy. All the wind got sucked out of my sails my the whole meet & greet. I was suddenly thinking maybe the drive wasn't worth it. I didn't expect more time, just that he would at least pretend to be friendly.
We went and grabbed some dinner and got back to Jesters to stand in line for about 90 minutes until they open the doors. We then spend the next 6 hours standing like cattle all shoved together. You could barely move and getting a drink meant losing your precious 8 inches of floor space.
The band sounded great, but the whole experience gets a thumbs down.

WOW

I will say that this was my first Daughtry concert and I am smitten!! The show was awesome... although the show was delayed about an hour it was still great!! I had to leave the show early to get back to my little girl. I will definitely try to go to every show I can! (By the way, I was in the front and touched him twice!) lol. It was a really great time!!

Well this isnt really a review because he hasnt come to town yet, but... i really want a ticket to the show. i am leaving next monday to go to africa for a month for a missions trip with eight other people from my college. I really want to see Daughtry and Day of Fire <3 before i leave. i know its like impossible, but if it could at all happen thats my one request before i leave the country. Daughtry: i hope you have a wonderful time in Fayetteville --home sweet home-- Smiling

My sister was just dumped by her boyfriend of 7 years...for no good reason I might add. The three of us (yes the ex was there) saw Daughtry at the HOB in Myrtle Beach. The show was amazing, but my sister deserves to see a show without her ex standing next to her. A meet and greet with Daughtry is just what she needs.

i'm having surgery on june 4th, this show would be last chance to get ouf of the house for months!

This consumate band is like the strings of the Messiah violin and Chris Daughtry's vocals are like the bow that moves across them with a sound so unique it scoffs at the thought of having to ever be compared to any other.Other bands pale in comparison.

I love Daughtry. I really hope to meet him someday and I'm super psyched that he's comming to Buffalo.

I FEEL DAUGHTRY's music...love the chance to feel it live; tell them how much it means to the fans!

I can't believe you won't let a local band open for you at Jesters. The Fifth is one of the best local bands here. They were good enough to play Altel and open for Staind and all them but not you. That just ain't right. You were a local act at one point in time before you went to Idol or did you forget your days as a memeber of No Element. You should never forget where you came from. The Fifth puts on a good show if you don't beleive me check em out for yourself.

We LOVE you! My kids jokingly refer to Chris as their future Dad! My husband is not amused! Ha Ha!

Please realize that if you bought tickets off of eBay, StubHub, CraigsList, etc. for this show you will likely not be able to get in. The owner will check the serial number against the ORIGINAL purchaser of the ticket, if it's not you, too bad. It doesn't matter if the ticket is valid, or if your friend bought it for you, or if you got it for your birthday.

This policy was not mentioned on etix.com but it applies nonetheless. See below.

From the owner of the venue:

"I want to make this as plain as possible so that there is no misunderstanding. If you purchase a ticket to the "Daughtry" show off of EBay or any other online ticket site, it is a ticket that was originally purchased from ETix. If you attempt to come to the show bearing those tickets and your name does not match the name on my ETix report for each corresponding serial number YOU WILL NOT GAIN ACCESS TO THE SHOW, PERIOD. You will have wasted your money. I will not condone the scalpers in any way."

This quote was visible on the Jesters website on 4/28/07.

Its my sisters birthday gift and it would be a night she would never ever forget...help me accomplish this!!!!
