Daughtry in the UK
Have any of you guys seen any promo of daughtry yet over in the UK? i think they will be huge over here when they release there stuff in europe. Whats anyone else think?

Is everybody going to see Daughtry in London on October 13th here?? I have tickets, want to know when everyone is lining up outside the venue?

As yet I have not seen anything to really promote Daughtry here in the UK.
I found out more about Daughtry when I went on holidays to see my parents in Florida, that's where I fell in love with them.
I really REALLY think that if Daughtry were to come to the UK, perhaps get on X Factor (cheesy I know but it would get people to notice them) and then perhaps go onto a few big radio stations, along with doing the Radio 1 Live Lounge. They could do a classic Daughtry CHOON and do an awesome cover of something very english. This would get people talking about them. The times I meet up with friends and ask who did the live lounge this week just shows it's something the nation does as a whole.
This would really help get them noticed. I think that is where the problem lays, although that there are fans here, its only the people who know about them that love them. How many people do you know that say they hate Daughtry!?!? More people that know about them then the more people have a chance to have an opinion. Once you have an opinion then you get more of a buzz about them.
I saw them support Nickelback and from what i've read from other people on here they guys like to perform to more intimate crowds. From what I saw at Wembley perhpas it was too big too quick in the UK, I felt really bad for them when I looked around and saw people asking "who are they?" and hardly anyone not knowing the words. I know it wasn't their gig, but you'd think you would know a bit more about a band from the USA who have sold as many records as they have. What didn't help was not performing "What About Now", seeing as Westlife had realeased it recently it would have been a good time to get people asking the question, "I've heard this before, where did I hear it?" They deserved more out of that gig because the had a great sound and performed really well, it just didn't show in the response. it would have been good for them to do the live lounge that week just before doing Liverpool I think.
Only my opinion.

I am a huge fan and i know that most people in my school are big fans of daughtry. if they did i tour of britain they would have to come to cardiff and i know that it will be a sell out. i have taken music for gcse and for a performance i am going to do a daughtry song. i think daughtry are amazing and i am not sure how many albums they have solt in the uk buit i can guess they have solt loads.... i am sure that loads of people will agree with me whn i say that daughtry should definately come to the UK!!

We are totally in agreement here - Daughtry, you need to get yourselves over here!!!! Reckon you'll have yourself a sell out tour across the length and breadth of Britain!! We're getting married next year, Daughtry tickets would be an awesome present to each other!!!! Here's hoping.......

Can't wait for Daughtry to hit the UK.. After hearing about them guys that done the cover of What about now, I decided to look up and see who Daughtry are... What a great move. Fantastic band, what a great voice and such a down to earth guy... Cant wait to see them live... Dont foregt about Northern Ireland Chris
...I'm so happy for all of you to be able to have the opp to see the band. If you haven't seen them live yet, you're in for a real treat. They are so engaging while on stage, and if you're lucky enough to be close, you'll see it on their faces - they truly love the fact that we love them so much!!!
As far as them touring with Nickelback..well, let me just say, I felt the same when they were opening for Bon Jovi so I didn't pay the inflated prices to go see them, thinking why pay all that money when Daughtry will only be on stage for a short time, especially in the huge arenas they were playing on that tour (albeit prolly not as big as Wembley)? Found out later I was WAY wrong because Chris was on stage with Bon Jovi a few times during their songs all throughout the tour, not just the Daughtry songs. I really kicked myself over that later. And considering how much Chris and Chad Kroeger have worked together, I think the same may be occuring for the Europe shows.
I can't even imagine the cost that must go into international touring for American bands, so maybe the Nickelback tour was a good way for Daughtry to test the waters, so to speak, on dipping full-fledged on their own. Try your best to get out there and show your support to Our Guys, and hopefully soon you'll get that headline tour of your own.

Mate if they came to Rock City that would be rediculously good - went to Uni in Notts. They shoudl do a couple of dates in Astoria or at least Brixton or something. Hate the fact that they are touring with Nickelback, I hate Nickelback! Would never in a million years pay to see such class as Daughtry support Nickelback at Wembley (probably the least intimate venue in London!)! Come on Daughtry PLEASE tour the UK headlining! Would be amazing!

The Borderline Club is a venue that holds approx 150 people max.
Tickets on Ebay are selling for £300 plus, which is ridiculous, but if you have not got your tix yet, don't panic, just take this as a promo show and lets get our fingers crossed for a Summer Tour!!
The UK are gonna love DAUGHTRY so we will deffinatley be seeing more of the guys in the up and coming months I am sure!!!

I am a big fan of DAUGHTRY and have been waiting for them to come to the UK for a long time unfortunately they are only doing 1 show in London at the Bordeline which is a very small venue and tickets are SOLD OUT... c'mon guys add more dates please. You guys are big here in the UK. Can you believe that the tickets at the Bordeline cost only £10 and there are people selling them on the ebay for £172 and 13 bids already! Please guys you need to add more dates and come to a bigger venue. We can't wait to meet you.

Hey guys..yep Kaz and I had an awesome time in Florida.....got to meet the band again...this was my second time out there I went to LA in January too!
Those guys are totally awesome and the nicest guys I've met in a long time! We only got a brief chat with Chris but he is wonderful....he was cheeky, charming and totally adorable. 
Since I've been home I've emailed 19 Management in London....got a reply from California.....at the moment no news for album release here or a tour.....but was told to keep an eye on Daughtry Official all news will be released here as soon as they can.
I just wish it was soon...I am getting withdrawals

I have just been over to the States with Treena, we met up with a group of Yahs, (not sure if you know who they are?) I got to see Daughtry play twice, it was awesome, I got to meet the band and a quick word with Chris, I had the time of my life!!
