First Tour Dates Announced
19 Recordings/RCA artist DAUGHTRY, fronted by rocker Chris Daughtry has roared into 2007 as music's breakout story of the year, launching one of the most anticipated tours of the New Year and passing the platinum milestone with their smash, self-titled debut CD in only 5 weeks since its release.
The newly-announced dates kick off on January 28 at the House Of Blues in Anaheim, CA, with DAUGHTRY heading to Solana Beach, CA the following night on the 29th, and headlining a much buzzed-about show in Los Angeles, CA at the El Rey Theatre on February 1. DAUGHTRY will appear in San Francisco on February 4, with more dates to be announced through April.
All this excitement comes as DAUGHTRY’s first single explodes into rare, multi-format orbit, vaulting into the Top 20 at the Pop format, Top 25 at Active Rock (achieving most added status again this week), top 15 at AC (becoming the fastest charting record in the Adult contemporary format) and debuting at #37 on the Modern Rock Chart. DAUGHTRY is being embraced by virtually every fan demographic with the album taking over the digital domain, becoming the #1 album on iTunes.
The eagerly awaited video for “It’s Not Over†will be unveiled this week. Directed by Dean Karr (Damian Marley, Seether) and Jay Martin (Dashboard Confessional), the much buzzed about clip will premier on AOL with a host of other video outlets scheduled to air later in the week.
The debut album from DAUGHTRY scored the biggest opening sales week of any new artist in 2006, logging in at #2 on the Billboard Top Albums chart a little more than a month ago, affirming DAUGHTRY’s place as a pivotal new musical force in rock.

I hope you guys are coming to the east coast. I live NorthEast Pennsylvania, and I know there are so many people out here that are hoping you play here. The Wachovia Areana in Wilkes Barre is where Chris played 2 soldout shows with the American Idol Tour, and I know most of them were there for Chris. You guys rock and I really hope you concider coming over this way soon. I'll be waiting!!!!!!
