Hi everyone, I got home late last night from my scrapbook/girlie weekend. I had a great time on Friday night at the show. Thank you Stacie for the ticket and thank you to Michelle for meeting up with me before the show to get me the ticket

The guys sounded great as usual! Every time I see them I get more and more into them. After they played, I met up with Rachael and Jill and went over to the buses to look for the guys. We got to see Brian playing with his daughter (she is just SO adorable) and Joey was hanging out by the buses as well. We waved and he came over to us, I can't even tell you how sweet this guy is! Full of energy after banging on those drums forever and just so nice to us. I've been to enough shows that he remembered me and said he saw the pictures I posted on my myspace page of my daughter at the show in Saratoga. Got a picture with him and hung out for a while and then I left before Nickelback ended. I didn't see Staind play or Nickelback..I just hung out at the buses.

Chris was on his skateboard so he never got near us for me to try to get pictures. This guy is getting harder and harder to find and I STILL don't have a picture of me and him together after 6 shows I get the feeling I never will at this point. Lucky gals to all of you who have gotten a pic with him!

Looking forward to the Big E in a few months, hopefully some more shows in the area will pop up so I can get more Daughtry fixes

Joey really is a "people person" isn't he? I love how he always wants to come out and just talk. I'm glad you and Rachael at least got to see and talk to him. I hope I have a chance to say "Hi" to you at the BIg E. We were telling Joey what the Big E is like after the concert. Maybe we'll find a way to see him again.

Okay, I haven't had a chance to finish my post.
Joey was the ONLY guy being social that night and he made our night!
What a GENUINELY, FRIENDLY guy, so full of life -- I just love him.
He's so considerate and thoughtful to take the time with fans, ya know?
He talked w/ us for 20 minutes and never once acted in a hurry or like he had anything better to do. He never even said the words "okay, I should get going now".
He just happily skipped (literally skipped) over to us!
I got my pic. w/ him (even though it was my 3rd pic w/ him) and i had him autograph my ticket.
(Even though I've gotten his autograph several times too).
After a while he also brought 4 of us each our own bottle of water - and one girl asked for a beer and he snuck her one - it was a Michalob Ultra.
"He said, you ladies are still here, you must be thirsty" (as he handed us the waters) ...so sweet!
He also signed a shirt for Rachael's daughter who's 11 AND talked to her on Rachael's cell phone for a good 3-4 minutes. Rachel's daughter was ecstatic, and so was Rach.
We saw Steely walking towards a bus and i called to him, but he didn't come, so I explained to Joey (while showing him my CD) that I had all the guys' autographs EXCEPT Steely's.
Joey was so sweet, he said....
"I think I can go take care of that for you".
He took my CD and my Sharpie and went and found Steely (who was in a bus) and got it, and brought it back 5 mintutes later. I was so happy and now have all 5 guys' autographs.
Anyway...
Joey also took Rachel's daughter's shirt to Steely to sign.
What a guy!
We saw Vegas too from a distance, and Brian and family.
I was sad JP wasn't there, he hasn't been at my last 3 concerts!
Chris was no where in sight (of course).
I've given up on him. He's just so famous now.
I don't think I'll ever have my pic. taken with him, unless someway, somehow
I actually win a meet and greet.

I got home at 1:05am...(I didn't stay for the other 2 bands, because I had a 2.5 hour drive ahead of me and a I wanted to get out of there before eveyone else). I just wanted to "stalk" hee hee - just kidding. I love using that word!

It was nice to have a Daughtry fix again.
It will hold me over until Sept.

Oh, one last thing...Brian has the family bus right now and he and his wife and daughter were there.
Wife, from what I could tell was pretty, thin and blonde and daughter looked my son's age about 2.5 and was sooo cute.
Blondie too. We didn't go near them, but saw them from about 50 yards away, and also saw them in the wings during the show.

Anyway.... that's all. Can't wait for the BIG "D"

Daughtry...thanks for rocking my world in Troy, NYC, 6 Flags, GMA, and in Mansfield!
Counting down the days to my 6th show ~ Sept. 15th ~ The Big E.
I'm hoping to "Crash" into you...cuz "What I want..what I need" is to meet you ALL!

I would LOVE a black one w/ silver diamond rhinestones - like the ones you had...

It was such a great night last night! It was wonderful to meet so many of you (finally)! Daughtry was great.. I cant wait until they are the headliner and we get even more time with them on stage! my son and I also really loved Nickelback.... they put on an incredible show! Pauline..... it was great to hang out with you, I know the boys really had a great time together. My son was already asking if yours was going to the Big E concert...LOL I will have to come visit you on the other board sometime.... I hope to get a chance to catch up with you all again someday!

I had a blast. Met up at the 99 and had food and beverages, and more beverages and more beverages with the ladies. It was kinda like a swinging door. First Jill from DO beat us there, then Lauren and I arrived with the kids in tow, then Elizabeth from DO, then Lynne and Nancy, then Maria and Maria.

Off to the concert. It was short but sweet. Kinda empty up toward the section we were at. I should have taken a picture of the crowd coz it was thin. I don't think anyone realized they were going on at 6:50 but a few of us so there were many empty seats. All the better to wave to the boys and get their attention Not that they noticed us , but I can believe it to be so well, Chris didn't look my way but the others did. Kinda sad that there was no JP in attendance, but otherwise a great set. I don't really know the set list but they did about 9 songs including the Black cover one, which was awesome by the way. I mainly called Karen during the show so she would know the set list better than I will. My phone crapped out on me so I had to use Mark's and I only had a couple of yah's stored in there so that's all I could call.

The email I just sent to Tweeter about the horrid bouncer...

To the powers that be:

AAH… The life of a bouncer. Must be so difficult. All that standing around, keeping all those unruly, drunken, drugged out fans in their proper places…. So tough, you really must feel the need to lash out at someone from time to time….

Such was the inexcusable behavior I witnessed at the Nickelback concert last night. My crime? I was taking a video with my photographic camera, that was allowed. I wasn’t smoking pot like the people near me. The woman shooting her video, two rows ahead of me was left alone. I got yelled at in a manner, even my father wouldn’t have dared to do when I was a child. I was threatened with expulsion. I seethed with so much anger that the next 3 songs were watched while crying. If I didn’t love the bands playing that night so much, I would have given that brute a piece of my mind.

Look, I’m a 5’- 4”, 35 year-old, married woman. I was in the middle of my FIRST beer. I wasn’t drunk. This was my night out. Did I really need to get yelled at like I was in football practice? The timber of his voice shook me so deeply at the moment, that I didn’t comprehend what he was saying to me the first time, which angered him even more! When I pointed out that I’d thought video was ok, because the woman in front of me was shooting video, he screamed, “You (expletive) let me do my (expletive) job, or your (expletive) outta here!”

All the man had to do was say, “Ma’am, you can’t take video here.” And it wouldn’t have been a problem. Ask him. We didn’t cause any problems during the show. When I ran into him later, I shook his hand. Guess that’s MY good upbringing. Funny how he stopped treating people badly when he was in front of the band members! Apparently, he knows how to use his manners when it suits him.

I know the man’s name, but I won’t repeat it here. I know the value of a job, and I don’t wish to cost the man his. This is not my purpose in writing this. I have too much class and respect for that.

However, I would suggest being a little more careful when choosing your staff. Perhaps a viewing of the movie, Roadhouse, may help? Seriously, I have been to DOZENS of concerts and have never been treated so badly. I won’t lie and say I will no longer return, depends on the quality of your programming. I will say, however, that I’ll think twice, especially if a future show will be at another venue.

Soooo, usually it takes us an hour to get to the Tweeter Center.. well, last night took us OVER 3 hours to get there!! I missed the WHOLE Daughtry set. I just wanted to go home when I pulled in the Tweeter Center parking lot and got the call from my friend who was inside. But my husband and I just decided to go in and try to enjoy ourselves.

We were parked over by the limos so we had to walk by the tour buses. There were no fans around, just me walking by and then stopped to see if I could see anyone. And guess who was walking in my direction!!! CHRIS!!! Ohhhhhhhhmigod my heart was beating a mile a minute! I just wanted to run right over to him, but figured I would get arrested. So I called out his name and he looked up, I said Hi and waved and he waved back, nodded at me and was like What's up! I looked at my hubby and was like OMG OMG! LOL He's like well do something. I'm like what.. Chris, I really want your autograph but don't have a pen! LOL. So they took him right into his tour bus and then *DING* I realized I have a camera cell phone! I waited a little bit to see if he would come back out but my hubby was getting antsy to go in.. so I finally gave in.. lol. I was about 15 feet away from him. It definitely made my night - even though I was really bummed I missed their performance.

So, I had a bitter sweet evening.
