Daughtry for my birthday!
Unbelievable! I was just telling someone the other day that I was determined to see Daughtry this year and guess what? They book a show closest to me ON my birthday! I will be at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA rockin' out with the band! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on the opposite side of the catwalk. Sadly this was the only show I could go to. I would've loved a repeat. Looking forward to your pix

Thanks Laurie, nice pics! Where were you sitting? We were on the aisle in row F, section 2...looks like it was close to you! I took loads of photos too but have not had time to sort through them yet. I'll try to post some later. Going to any other shows? I'm doing Bakersfield next week!

That was an a AMAZING show wasn't it! Honestly it was the absolute best show I have ever been too, it really exceeded every show I have been to. Lifehouse is my favorite band (99.9% about that) and I loooove me some Daughtry too so it was perfect! I'm glad your thinking about checking out LH's albums, if you have any ?'s feel free to ask me.
Cavo was pretty good (lead singer does have a baby face hehe). I really like their song "let it go", I'll have to download that later. Lifehouse was beyond amazing, the new stuff sounded freakin awesome live!!!!!!! As for Daughtry, what more can you say.......incredible! I was so exhausted after the show from singing lol. Word for word from when Lifehouse started til Daughtry finished. I hate when shows are over, it makes me to sad and I want to do it all over again. Lucky you, get to go again. Were you on floor 2? I was in the 7th row of floor 2. My camera was giving me all kinds of trouble

LOVED the show Monday night! I was at the tail end of the meet and greet line and felt like they (the support staff, not the band) were anxious to get everyone through, so I didn't say much to the guys except hi. I got a handshake from Steely and Brian, then Chris gave me a hug and said something like 'ooh, I get a birthday hug!', and someone asked why I was keeping it a secret, lol. So then JP gave me a hug too! Then we took the photo and it was done. At least my picture turned out pretty good! Maybe I will have more time to chat at my next show on Tuesday, lol.
I was not familiar with Cavo or Lifehouse, but I really enjoyed their sets. When Jason (Lifehouse singer) came down into the audience I put my hand out and he gave me nice handshake
. I may have to get their CDs and give them a closer listen. My friend and I decided that Cavo's lead singer needs an edgier look though, he has such a baby face! Their bass player was fun to watch though, and he did great backing vocals as well.
Of course, the Daughtry boys rocked the house! It was JP's hometown show and he really seemed to be feeling the love and playing to the crowd. That boy is like a wind-up toy...all over the place and never stands still! It was hard to get a good photo of him but I think I got a couple, including one where the green laser looks like it is going right through his head, lol.! I am a picture taking fiend at concerts and shot almost 600 frames at the show. I was on the opposite side of the stage from Steely so I didn't get many good pics of him, but maybe I will have better luck on Tuesday since my seat is on the other side of the catwalk. I love the stage setup too, with the catwalk out front, the changing backdrop curtains, the lasers, the raised drum platform, and the different levels of scaffolding for the boys to play on.
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet anyone else from the board, maybe next time. My voice is still pretty croaky but it is slowly coming back! If I can find time and figure out how to do it I will try to post a couple of pics. Time to get ready for work!

Sounds like tons of fun Sunnyslo, Happy Birthday! I'm going to be there for sure and I can't wait! Wohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be my 2nd time seeing Daughtry and Lifehouse, kind of excited to see Cavo too.

Thats awesome!! you will love them!!! I am sure of it! For your birthday you should do VIP, so you get to meet the guys. I have done it for the last 2 years for my birthday, and it is a priceless moment.
